I can't find them? I know that before they merged the Commonlands together into one zone, they used to be found in East Commonlands. I have looked all over for them and I am unable to find them for some reason... Could anyone help me out please?
I took my ranger out to commonlands, and ran through the whole zone, you right all 3 are missing from zone. Waited awhile to see if someone had just killed them all (highly unlikely) and so far no cigar.
Submitted a bug report and a support ticket about this. Will check again in 1 hr just in case they are on insanely long spawn times.
Update: 1 hr gone and still no scarabs, guess they are missing from the mob table. Will update once I get feedback from support

Perhaps other mobs need to be killed to get them to spawn...kill some fire beetles, bears, lions and such and see if some scarabs pop.
Scarabs can or used to be found in Butcherblock and West karana can't be sure about leaf scarabs. Sand scarabs are found in desert of ro.

So if the OP was looking for the beast to do the armor quests then it looks as if they are obsolete.
Asked Sony to let me know what is happening there so we can update the Ilia info if they have been zapped
