TASK: Deliver Us From Evil - Mithaniel Marr's Favor
GIVEN BY: Avatar of Mithaniel Marr in Plane of Tranquility (inside the northern-most building around PoN, /loc -68, -1262, -873)
OBJECTIVE: Vanquish creatures that are causing deception, lies, and unhappiness in Norrath.

REWARD: Celebratory Fireworks Caster (only if this is the first diety quest you have completed), Fireworks Focus of Mithaniel Marr, Potion of Adventure II, 1.8k pp (at level 82), EXP, the choice between seven different distillates and Shiny New Class I Collapsable Roboboar (only if this is the 16th diety task you have completed)

STEPS: (use the Eye of Valor given to you to reveal your foe)

note: You need to kill a dark blue or white con mob (that is weak) called "a spectre of evil". The con of the mob seems to scale to the nearest "5s" (so a level 82 player would get a level 80 mob, but a level 85 player would get a level 85 mob)

8. Darkness threatens the travelers on the Queen of Thorns -- Abysmal Sea, worked by the Magus (/loc -143.68, 39.69, 142.45)
9. Shadows lurk in the Vah Shir camp -- Shadeweaver's Thicket, the Vah Shir tents near Shar Vahl (/loc -2448.19, -2685.45, -202.20)
10. Peril hides in the Vah Shir camp -- Hollowshade Moor, the enclosed area outside of Shar Vahl (/loc 1031.30, 1960.23, 37.26.... the guards "help")

I don't believe they despawn until killed. I had one instance where i accidentally spawned 2 at the same time and had no trouble taking my time with them. Both were even cons at 85 (but seriously overconned!)

The "a spectre of evil" were even cons to me at 70. I'm an EP/Time geared enchanter and these guys were no pushovers. I had to gate the first time because it was much tougher than I was expecting. They were only slightly slowable and I could only manage a spell or two before it ate through arcane rune and I had to re-rune. It was hitting for around 2-300, max about 481. After a couple of tries though I managed to be able to take them down without too much trouble.
