TASK: Bristlebane's Party Favor - Bristlebane's Favor
GIVEN BY: Fizzlethorpe Bristlebane's Image in PoK (I found him at the archway closest to the big bank)
OBJECTIVE: Bristlebane wants you to visit the firework shows all over Norrath. They happen only at one place at a time, so you have to keep moving!

ADDITIONAL INFO: What you are looking for is a non-targetable, non-trackable NPC called Bristlebane's Party Machine. It looks like a wind-up clockwork. It will stay in a zone for one hour of real life time before moving to the next on the list. After step #20, it will return to step #1. There is no break in the cycle!


REWARD: Celebratory Fireworks Caster (only if this is the first diety task that have completed), Potion of Adventure II, Firework Focus of Bristlebane, Bristlebane's Party Generator (summons a stack of throwable pies), 3150pp (at level 82), EXP, the choice between seven different distillates (scales to level) and Shiny New Class I Collapsable Roboboar (only if this is the 16th diety task you have completed)

TASK STEPS:

CLUE: Where there's fireworks, there's smoke. Where there's hot water, there's this.
LOCATION: Steamfont -- SE portion of zone (CONFIRMED)

CLUE: For small folks, they sure play a big game of chess!
LOCATION: Butcherblock -- around PoK book (CONFIRMED)

CLUE: Where the Windstalker used to stalk.
LOCATION: Qeynos Hills -- south of Hadden (CONFIRMED)

CLUE: Big feet, big sandy footprints.
LOCATION: Southern Desert of Ro -- around spectre isle (CONFIRMED)

CLUE: If a bear was bare here, it couldn't bear it.
LOCATION: Everfrost -- path south of PoK book, also wanders through most of the mountain paths (CONFIRMED)

CLUE: Stone boat shuttles? Who are they kidding?
LOCATION: Erudin -- on the docks (CONFIRMED)

CLUE: Fear? Rot? Well, these are a few of my favorite things.
LOCATION: The Feerrott -- wide circle around the druid ring and PoK book (CONFIRMED)

CLUE: Kurn's View isn't so nice here as it once was.
LOCATION: Field of Bone -- walks the path from Cabilis entrance down to the pit(CONFIRMED)

CLUE: The markets here are wonderful, though who really needs that much catnip?
LOCATION: Shar Vahl -- bridge near Shadeweaver zone (CONFIRMED)

CLUE: Only an elf would think that their dark is greater than someone else's.
LOCATION: Greater Faydark -- underneath Kelethin, near PoD lift, NW of druid ring (CONFIRMED)

CLUE: I can't believe that those leatherfoot, er leatherfeets, are still alive.
LOCATION: Nektolus Forest -- wizard portal area (CONFIRMED)

CLUE: Trolls be wary, this is their home and they will give you warts if you pester them.
LOCATION: Rathe Mountains -- old hill giant area (CONFIRMED)

CLUE: Are you one with the wall?
LOCATION: Misty Thicket -- on top of the wall (CONFIRMED)

CLUE: Minitab? Is that even a word?
LOCATION: Natimbi -- pathing IN the river, east to west (and sometimes south into the ocean), you can get update levitating above him (CONFIRMED)

CLUE: You take the low pass....
LOCATION: Highpass Hold -- in front of Highpass Keep (CONFIRMED)

CLUE: I'd prefer a crescent roll myself.
LOCATION: Crescent Reach -- back part of zone, on ground below dragons (CONFIRMED)

CLUE: Home to many of the world's largest things: largest Gnome launcher, largest clockwork and largest crash site!
LOCATION: Dragonscale Hills -- on road near the farm, around /loc +3500, -925; also has been sited on the beach by the docks and in the water there (CONFIRMED)
note: The party machine not only walks around in DSH, he also warps from spot to spot. Just pick one of the known sighting locations and hang out there until you see him.

CLUE: High places are always covered with the veil of morning light.
LOCATION: Dawnshroud Peaks -- doing a wide ring outside Sanctus Seru between the baker's camp and Netherbian (CONFIRMED)

CLUE: Where claws met Norrath.
LOCATION: Cobalt Scar -- walking along the beach (CONFIRMED)

CLUE: Edge of the sea with the same name.
LOCATION: Barren Coast -- along the coastline near the docks (CONFIRMED)

CHECKLIST:

I now have seven of my eight characters doing this, so it's getting cumbersome to remember who has done what. Location #14 still isn't confirmed, so that may change. Obviously you'll need to change the character abbreviations to your own characters. You should copy/paste into wordpad or some such, and use courier new for the font, otherwise the alignment is wacky!

Nope. There were tons of us from the chat channel looking in Natimbi and other various zones, and couldn't find anything.

edit: Absor confirmed that the "Minitab" step was broken. Should be fixed next time it hits it.

Aye, I had originally posted SW on accident, and the c/p of my original still says SW. The correct corner is SE!
