Samanna's used to have a chart of all the mount speeds in the game. But I am having a helluva time finding it anymore.

Does anyone have this chart able to be linked, or have another copy of it please?

Thanks in advance.

Not exactly what you're looking for, but it works. The speed comparisons are down at the bottom.

Thanks. It helps.

Does anyone have anything with the robopig(upgraded) and LoN mounts listed also?

Thanks Dieselious.

That is exactly the one I'm looking for. It has at least the robopig levels listed. And now that you mentioned it was in the "buffs", I of course found it within 15 seconds (I followed the link, but wanted to still find it, lol).

Ok, so it has the robopig levels listed, but it isn't current enough to have the LoN mounts. Does anybody have an idea of where they fall in that list. I had heard they were bard speed, so they should be better than the class V robopig, but by seeing that there are ZERO mounts listed there in the same category as bards, I'm assuming the LoN mounts are in the same level as the Paladin/Sk steeds, the robopig, and Seru's bridle.

If anybody has any confirmation of this, please share. Or if they ARE faster, than that would be good to know too.

The LoN mounts are the same speed as the Ornate Chain Bridles.

This.

One of my clerics has the panther LoN mount and one of my wizards has the Black Ornate Chain one (I was bored and the Lord Inquisitor looked lonely so....) and once they get started, they're the same speed. Panther looks faster since it's lower to the ground and has a different frame-by-frame animation but the ground they cover is the same per unit time.

I still need to put those two against my Paladin's unicorn and my bard though.

How can you chose what color horse you are riding? I just picked the fastest most expensive one I could at the time - but I would really have another color. As far as I knew before horse chains are no drop, no trade. Is this still true? And when people say Panther - do they mean a black horse or an actual panther?

First of all the Legends of Norrath mounts are animals/creatures. SO yeah the panther is a panther. But be aware of what Ogden Nash said "... If called by a panther/don't anther."

You choose your mount color by the color of the bridle. Tan, brown, white and black. They made the white and black mounts more expensive, or at least one of the colors is.
Drogs have different color drums.
