The Superbowl Weekend Update - Feb. 2nd, 2009Follow

At 4am (GMT+1), Superbowl was over and I went to bed. Got about 3 hours of sleep before I had to get up and go to work. You should be glad that you don't have to see me.

During the weekend, I uninstalled Lords of Everquest because I was really disappointed of the gameplay and controls. Played some more Dawn of War.

EQ-wise, I got several AAs on my main on Thursday, hunting in Barindu and Ferubi. Dinged 27 on my baby chanter (charming bixies and wasps in Blightfire) and 47 on the warrior.

Saturday: I finally had the silverwing shoulderpads drop, along with the shard and augment in dawnshroud peaks. I hit the scarlet desert for the 40 watchmaker cloak.

Sunday: More scarlet desert to finish the cloak. I then headed to burning woods for the 45 watchmaker helm. I dinged level 50 finishing up the helm.
Now I'm in city of mist. Shield of the mist was waiting on me to claim. I dinged 51 with 3 AAs.I can't believe how fast I leveled on this toon. I didn't do the testbuff thing.

I'm loving this druid. I'm not buying no gear. Every loot is like do I have a leather defiant piece smiling at me. This is a lot of fun.

I've been running my trio through some TBS tasks and having a lot of fun doing them so I decided to try the progression tasks. I spent about 6 hours Saturday and Sunday working on it. I think my chanter is bugged though, because her ring isn't showing any stats like the other two. I might have to start her over but better now than later since I'm not very far into it yet.

Sat:
Played on Druzzil for quite a while, helping a friend out with a quest. Was great to play with old friends. Raided AoA in the evening. Was great, got a few more upgrades. Went back to Druzzil, and helped out a friend level a new toon. Found out, I am nearly completely out of newbie twink gear :-/ What happened? Must of sold it all, since lowest toon is 47, and that's the trader :D Oh well, maybe I'll make up that twink list I've wanted to do forever. Doubtful though. However I did find a nice 2hs, I had forgotten about. Killer 22 delay on it. Thinking about camping that one Tunare.

Sun:
Played a bit more on Druzzil, was trying to farm some Ornate Chain stuff for the friend, but no luck. Got all sorts of plate, silk, and leather :( While I was out farming, grabbed a few missing pics of mobs, and updated them. Took a nap (only had a few hours sleep Sat night), then got back on Tunare, and tried to farm some research stuff .. didn't go well on the farming, but got a few AAs off of mostly greens, so not all bad. Went lfg, hoping for LP, but nothing happening there, and ended up at farm, as it was open. Wasn't long solo before ppl started asking to join, and the AAs rolled in until this morning (Mon). Hoping to get a few more good grind groups this week. I really want the War to get to 71, and get some of the nice 71 AAs, especially Grappling Strike. I've been missing that one severely.

Am late but was out of town Monday and most of today.

I realized that I hadnt gotten the old armor augs off so spent a fortune doing that for my Ranger, now my Pally.

Did some exploring and it seems I may have to do some quests over again to obtain the keys for certain instances but that is fine.

Trader made some money, got my auto Forage working (I am so bad doing these things).

Just messing around a bit too.
