Add'l Spell Bar & Auto Forage Into InventoryFollow

#1 Jan 19 2009 at 7:49 AM Rating: Decent
Well, not doing bad after over 3 years and like how N. and S. Ro look now, Karana still looks the same lol

Two questions:

1. I remember having a way that I hit a key and my forage things automatically would be put into my bags. Could someone direct me to it?

2. I know have extra hot bars but what about a second spell bar that maybe could be placed above the other one. I have tried and tried to bring down spells to my hot bars but seems the hot bars will only accept spells already on the spell bar (hope that makes sense). Can it be done?

Other than that, am exploring old areas and some new. Couldnt help but wonder why they fixed up Ro but left Karana with jello jiggling water and triangle hills. It's okay for sure.

Thanks for any help and am not a computer guru.

Regarding the spell bar...

You can only hotkey the spell gem not the actual spell. One of the limiting factors of the game revolves around having 8 to 10 spells memmed at one time.

Don't forget that you can have spell sets saved. For example, my shaman has a "buff" set, a "dot" set, and a "high dps" group. With one click, I can start swapping out multiple spells. I make sure that I keep a couple important spells in each set, for example, my shaman has a slow, a heal, and root memmed in each of the aforementioned spell sets.

Create a new hotkey. Call it forage.

/pause 3, /doability x (add a very short pause in there for server latency.)
(where x is the number where forage is. It's different depending on where you put it in the hot keys.)
/autoinventory (may need to do it twice if you

Save it and copy it to your hot bar, and then it will fire every time you press it. You can also bind it to one of your movement keys, so you don't ever have to bother hitting it again. That's what I do when I'm working on raising the skill.

Okay, thanks. Will try to do both. What happened was a lower level player came by in POK and wanted SOW, I didnt have it up and I remember running by people and giving sow at least to them.

Will holler if any problems.

Thanks

At the bottom of your spell bar is a book. Right click it and you can save your spell line up. Change spells around and save it again with a different name. Then, you can quickly switch spell sets by right-clicking the book and bringing up the spell set you want.

Unmem all spells, then only mem the gems you want changed when you load the set, with the spells you want. Once you have only the spells you want saved memmed in your spell gems bar (Alt+S), right-click the meditate button at the bottom of the spell gems bar (You need Options (Alt+O) - General tab - Allow Context Menus enabled (depressed) ), then select Save Spell Set, and a dialog will come up, askign for a name. Enter a name and save (or OK, forget what the button says, as I'm on a melee at the moment).

To load, one, just right-click the meditate button, and select load spell set, and which one you want.

Yther Ore.
