Is Your Prexus Guild Struggling?Follow

#1 Jan 15 2009 at 6:35 AM Rating: Good
Spiritwalker is looking to absorb struggling guilds. In these times of low server populations a lot of guilds are disbanding or struggling for numbers to remain active with or simply stop raiding. When this happens the members tend to go else where looking for other people to play with. Since Spiritwalker also suffers from low numbers we are looking to help you hold your people together while helping ourself at the same time. Even though our numbers are currently low we are active and raid 3 times a week on average with 2-3 groups in attendance. We work hard to keep our members focused and advancing even when there are not many people available to play.

Before we concider your guild you will have to speak with me in depth about our guilds and expectations and you (and your members) will be welcome to attend our raids while we get to know each other and plan how it is best for you to join us.

We are looking for guilds who have members who are active during European prime time, which is American late morning / early afternoon. We will welcome players who don't fit in that time frame as well but our raids are scheduled at 8pm central european time (11am pst, 2pm est) and it is especially important that everyone can be active. Since our main raid day is Saturday it does leave it so that everyone will be able to raid at least once a week though so even those who can only play during that time on Saturday won't be left out.

If you would be interested in opening your options up allowing you to advance and raid while sticking with the people you know and growing your family within ours then send me a tell or e-mail any time.

I look forward to hearing from you!

Cheers,

Froakah

Oh Help!! Spammers follow me even on Allakhazam, then call me a sir on top of it! Don't we get enough of these game ruining idiots in other forms then to be stalked in site forums as well. I really wish there was a way to report a post here!

I rated him up though because he didn't say "Everquest Gold".

There are ways to report a post here.

You would know this and the fact Recruiting for guilds is not warmly welcomed here if you were a regular of the community. In fact there was just a post recently about guilds poaching members from other guilds. Now its a fact of life it happens, but most of us dont want to see it on here.

No harm in recruiting, a clear and open post like this isn't poaching.
At least they're making an effort to keep people playing together.

I'm not poaching members from other guilds, that is quiet another thing. It is dirty, underhanded, slimey and I don't at all agree with it!!

I am giving an offer out to guild leaders to merge their ranks into ours. That is hardly poaching members from other guilds. If other guilds leaders chose to act on the offer is their decision. I'm not gutting or recruiting out their ranks at all. I'm trying to help hold people together when their guild starts to deteriorate. what you insinuate I am doing includes sending tells and messages to guilded individuals to leave x guild to join mine. I have not approached any specific individual.

Many guilds are suffering from low server population. There is not a big pool of people to recruit from for any guild. This gives those smaller guilds a chance to stay together, to progress, and to enjoy the game further without having to go their seperate ways. Perhaps you should read the post before you accuse me of such discusting deeds!

I have to agree with the OP. This can hardly be considered poaching members from other guilds.

If I was a guild leader on that server, and I saw that it was becoming difficult to recruit and keep members due to the low server population, I would probably consider taking him up on his offer, after asking others within the guild of course.

This may not be poaching, but I cannot say I like to see this here either. It makes me think of folk looking for members in /occ.

EQ times are hard and guilds are shrinking, this doesent seem to be the way to fix a issue with your guild. Perhaps talking to other guild leaders on your server would be the way to go. You may find some who want to merge with you. Or have you merge with them.

That's what I'm doing. I live in Germany though so forums are my best bet with world wide time differences. Although, Spiritwalker won't be merging into other guilds, we are welcoming others among us though.
