Weekend update, december 19th to 21Follow

Hope everyone is warm, safe and happy this coming week.

Friday a cold rainy day, glad to be off work. In game I tried to take courtin and jonwin to crypt of decay, first pull was two mobs, no problem killing the first but forgot the second one would run. So jonwin valiently followed it for the kill and died to all the adds. Since other folks were in the zone and I didnt want to train them Courtin tried to fight off 6 with his aoe proc and self heal spells. But that spell has to proc as well and it didnt seem to want to. Used expiediant recovery on both.
Switched to rogue in drooga for a few kills, logged on druid in the grey to farm for hearty shissar blood, though now all the potions i can make from them are trivial. Logged on the ranger Adeste, who was in Ac looking to replace the heart of sky aug. It dropped after 25 min and I finished out the Lod i was burning. Did a stillmoon temple task later with Courtin.
Later in the evening I took adeste to HOH with one of my Lucky insane friends and ground out 3 aa's to get him endless quiver. (This was just after getting some HQ lion skins made into fleeting quivers. Send me tell on povar if you want to buy one. )
Shaman made potions, and Jonwin did an Ldon with my friends from LI. 65 to 75 range in players and mercs.

Saturday was a day of work on the ship, not too cold and dry thankfully.
Coming home in game I took the shaman on a Don run with LI friends. We failed the mission but no one died. Took time out to see Raven's beat Cowboys. What a great game for Bawlmer, Merlin and Cowboy haters. Back in game I just chatted and moved stuff around.

Sunday Worked on ships, steel side, but thankfully sun was out and I was able to take off a few layers of clothing. Read HANGING HENRY GAMBRILL, a history of Baltimore and "political" gangs during the 1850's. Winter is slow for tourism.
Came home to find elne clare had left me. She went to a yule feast with her daughters and grandchildren.
In game we had an Aude Sapere group! It was chlorr on his 54 Warrior, Mandie on her 55 Sk and me on the 62 ranger. We were in POI, most mobs to me were lb, but i did get the aug drop, as did Mandie, and no one died. Ground out 4 AA'S and a yellow of exp. After a break I took courtin on a don run. On way out we got aggro somehow from 4 mobs. 1st player cleric went down, and while i Was able to hold heals on some it was a losing fight. Group ran to zone and I ALMOST made it out. Should have clicked on da when i saw 4 mobs between me and the door. Anyway the rezz got back most of my exp and the crystals will go to use.

Sunday: Going to role a druid alt. I spent the day trying to gather casual loot from omens and DoN. I'm looking for https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=48877. I killed every spider spawn multiple times. I never saw the magma spider. I wonder if it only spawns in the instance ?

I haven't hardly been playing EQ at all lately. But now that the Christmas shopping is done and the tree is up, I hope to get some play time in.

Friday night and Saturday, in between the usual week-end chores, I finished up the first two Rabbit books by John Updike. Interesting. Now I just need to pick up the next two. I'm hoping Santa brings me a B&N gift card.

Sunday I started reading Duma Key by Stephen King. It's a little slow paced but getting interesting. Grouped with Marres and Jonwin as they mentioned. Had a blast crawling through PoI. SK dinged twice. Two more levels and then I'll start working some AAs.

I'm off work from 12/25 until 1/5, so I'm looking forward to some major EQ time.
