Seriously, people want EQ advertising? Nothing would turn the alumni heads than to have Fansy honored for what he was: an innovator, a linestepper and ultimately --a person that was correct.
I'll leave it to someone more savvy to link the old Fansy threads for those unaware of this Bards campaign against whiners and injustice.
The new server ruleset would have to be no rules pvp of some sort, to truly honor Fansy. Admittedly, this makes such an act (creating the server) highly unlikely.

Truthfully the only server I greatly miss from EQ is Sullon Zek. At least, pre-PoP, when it wasn't possible for people to just pop into the <insert evil newbie zone here> as a high level ranger and headshot newbies.

I dont care what they name it I think that there should be NO HIGH LEVEL TRANSFERS ALLOWED !!!!!!!!!!! That way all the new comers and oldtimers starting over have a chance, and may once again enjoy what the game once was.
Was the Discord server the one where you had to start back at level one if you died? That server was hilarious! Everyone was afraid to leave the newbie areas because they didn't want to die.
Yeah, it was full PvP and only Classic zones. The Top 5 highest level people (or ranked by kills or whatever) after... 2 months?... were supposed to get items added to the game with their name on them.
Of course, the top 5 people were all found to be hacking and SOE quietly scrapped the whole reward thing and stopped speaking of it.
