Of course, my outrage would be better suited if I had something to report. Played very little this weekend due to holiday commitments. I think I did a little bit of farming that that's it.

I'm tired of the Bazaar. Seriously. Selection sucks and stupid things are way overpriced. Like in a "250pp for a Small Bronze BP" sort of way, not the omnipresent "999,999pp Flask of Water" way. Is anyone actually serious when they do that? I'm sure the high end, end-game market* is more competitive but it's just boggling to look at the lower end stuff.

*Well, as "end game" as the Bazaar gets...

Well, it was the significant others b-day this weekend so no play time in EQ. However, I did go to Atlantic City and gamble some.

Joph, in the bazaar, if no one is selling there is no price sanity. I have seen it myself, where a price seems way out of whack but it's the only one. I try not to overprice stuff myself cause I remember trying to purchase upgrades and stuff for the main way back when. Painful.

FRI: Played the necro and did 69.1 with a coupe guildies. We spent two hours there and still didn't finish it. The drop rate was horrible for the books. We ended up calling it a night but all got several aa's.

SAT: Came home to a bread bowl filled with Baked Potato soup. It was delicious and I ate way to much. So the wife and I just laid on the couch and watched "It's a Wonderful Life". That was the first time I watched it all the way through. I can see why it's considered a classic.

SUN: Even though it was just last night I just don't remember what I did. It must not have been to exciting.

I often wonder if people use this method to have people pay them back or to buy plat from a website. Because I don't always see them that high sometimes it's just odd amounts. Just a thought.

I did various and sundry things this weekend.
Friday After work I logged on the shaman and made some potions. I logged on the rogue who is back in drooga and killed the 3 mobs that spawn at entrance. Oh and I played courtin the cleric in a Lucky Insane group in tbs. Two aa's and more exp to 73.
Saturday, worked on the steel ships side of the museums. Got off at one and read the newest book in the 1632 series 1634:The Dreeson affair, until i was tired of reading. Went to the Baltimore Science Fiction Society meeting. Suggested my 6 year old grandson as the artist guest of honor. Ian does great visionary art, very evocative of the Star Wars tm mythology. I would say he is in his later crayon period and his light sabers are very true to the spirit.
No game except to say hello and goodnight.

Sunday Work on the Constellation came home and watched the Steelers beat the Ravens, as I expected, though I will root for the Ravens when they dont play the Steelers. (My football loyalties go back to a day in May of 1983.)
Got into game a bit late, joined some folks on Jonwinnie, 70 Shaman doing Ldons. Burned thru 4 of them in about 2.5 hours. 3 aa's a haste item cloak. Not bad at all.

I thought about starting it, but I'm not an instigator of such social things :-/

Didn't get to play Fri or till late Sat, lotso f appointments.

Spent alot of Saturday working on Shield of the Otherworld aug in Dire. Got the Rng the 4 missing parts in 4 hrs :) Spent another 8+ trying to get the Warrior's last 2, but no spawns :( Chaplain and the gnoll, were the problem.

Finished the Hand aug finally on the Rng on Thu, prob gonna start on the War this coming week.

Got some SoD progression done on the War last week and over the weekend, working Void D now :) Need to get to work on the Rng too :-/

Tried out Valda this morning on War. Was ok xp, but they have alot of HPs .. I need to upgrade weapons for soloing for more DPS. Went to CoD thinking I'd get a little xp while looking for the hotzone aug, but unfortunately they were all grey at 81 :( But did get the aug.

Spending time on Tunare working on XP Frostfell quest potions atm. Yay!

Still haven't seen anything worthwhile for the 2008 season that's new yet tho :(

Yther Ore.

Was sick for nearly a week, so got some play time. :-P

Can't remember what I did when, but:
  • Got alternate access to Crypt of Decay (and the nice clicky bracer)
  • Did some xping in CoD and got the hot zone aug
  • Finished the first step of this year's frostfell task
  • Found out that Coldain Prayer Shawl #7 is broken because now only Rogues can use mortar and pestle
  • Hunted and died in Siren's Grotto, I hate that zone (but will need to hunt some more there for my Epic 1.5)
  • Did some pottery (133 --> 186) which costed about 1k

Edit: I agree Joph, bazaar is annoying. I could get a complete set of Scratched Hide (req 75) armor for a piece of bread, but Gnollish Leather (req 70) must be made of gold... Many of the lower level items are way too overpriced.

Saturday: I changed out my antivirus to norton av 2009. I then saw I could have purchased the gamer edition for the same price grr. When I disable auto protect and turn on silent mode (no updates or message spam) I'm left with 740ish free memory out of 1gig ram xp home sp3. I can't see an EQ performance hit, so I'm happy. A lot better than having to reboot with last product when I turned the product off, that was driving me crazy. O norton 2009 is awesome. It is light on memory usage, a lot faster product than say norton 2007, and reviews have it eating a lot of nasties. O the game! Joined up with 75 cleric 78 monk box in stoneroot falls. Killed a lot of spiders no attack augment of course.

Sunday: Wife was freaking out about no xmas pictures of the kids. Took pictures with digital camera had 8X10 5x7 etc. made at popular drug store chain. Bam saved about 90 bucks compared to last years professional photos. She happy which made me happy. Died soloing in stoneroot falls with 3 witherans on me weee. Needing a break from coral bog, I headed to nobles. Pixt pack area was being creamed with peps working on DL faction. So I headed to bloodfields. AA xp was flowing very nicely close to RCoD gate, nice kill rate.

Limited play time again this weekend due to class on Friday night/Saturday. Did get another level on my warrior and my necro found Sev up in EJ and managed to take him out. Was a fun fight, since Sev seemed to hit harder than Gorenaire. One more Kunark dragon checked off the list.
