I reported in petetion #3081122-000320 that I had lost all updates on the Quest "Testing The Invaders". The decision was that since I died that I should redo the quest. I did so last night and attempted to attach an addendum to that petition but evidentally ewas unable to do so. I can understand with the large volumn of petitions and reports that you receive that is probably necessary.
I completed that quest again, with no deaths, and once more lost all the updates with the exception of the last step completed
All updates were intact up untill we did the docks, they were the only remaining steps needed to complete the quests. Upon running to the end of the first dock I got the onscreen message that the quest was updated.
When I opened the quest window all of the up dates including that one were greyed out. I immediately ran back onto the dock and got the update message again. When I looked at the quest window - it did show an update - but for the second dock.
We then went to the second dock and completed it with the onscreen message popping up. On checking, I now had updates for dock one and dock two.
We then went to the third dock, completed it and got pop-up message. Upon checking quest the only step not greyed out was the third dock. Docks one and two were now greyed out along with the rest of the steps done in the Blackwater Village.
Out of curiosity I went to Aldin to see if maybe the greying out was some sort of a fluke. Upon hailing he told me to move on before I betrayed his position - or something like that.
All I am asking is that the steps that I completed - twice now - be reinstated so that I can speak to Aldin and receive the torch for the next step - burn the boat.
I was palng with the foloowing characters last night: Seldane, Sweetpea, Sugarcane, Hemight,and Goldeneedle.
The response to my previous petition on this matter insinuated that I had not done the task. I assure you that I most definitely have done the task. I am a doctor and hold myself to very high standards. I certainly am not going to cheat in a game. What would be the purpose
Respectfully yours;

Back to List of My Questions
I know that this is a hugh post, and I apoligize for that. However I could not think of any other way to completely describe the situation.
I am following CS advice to alert the EQ community and as this is by far rhe most active board, I figured that this is where I should start.
If any of you have experience this promblem with that, or any other task, plese communicate that to SOE - I do not like being accused of lieing and cheating. That portion of the quest is a real pain. I have done it 3x now and they don't show any records of it? No wonder they can't catch the real cheats.
