Monday morning, again! :-)

Can't really remember what I did when...

Main: Grouped in Undershore, had a quick look at Illsalin and Stoneroot Falls. Got some AAs and finally bought Origin. Found Arag's Celerity in Bazaar for only 1,5k (which is incredibly cheap).

Reached several long-term goals:
  • finished the Ogre Cultural DoD task (Darkhollow Geode)
  • got the Cobalt Scar key; I know that Cobalt Scar is now unlocked for certain levels, but it was fun finally winning over Ziglark Whisperwing (haven't tried in years)!
  • got the Belt of the Rainmakers, died two times trying to do the hand in in Plane of Growth. They just don't like Ogres! :-) Finally a friend CoH'd me to the Dryad.
Baby Warrior: Dinged 40, 41, 42 and 43, mostly in Wakening Land. Have yet to get the hotzone aug to drop...

FRI: Got what is a becoming a regular group and we decided to try Field of Scale. It was packed. So we then headed to Tosk. The ogre models there are awesome, I really wish that my warrior looked like that.

SAT: Had an early Thanksgiving at Grandma's house. The food was good, the company was fun, but the little one was cranky. She was tired but didn't want to sleep, so after three hours of fighting with her we finally got her to sleep. Was not fun, but we tried to make the best of it. Also played my necro for a bit, just burned a potion of adventure in Sunder and got a few aa's.

SUN: No EQ, was cleaning up the house preparing for company this week. It's just going to be dirty anyways because of the little one, but we made an effort.

Did some XPing to slowly climb out from lvl 70. Not there yet, but closer. Did some cash runs as well just because Sunderrock is so plat-poor that I hated watching my merc leech at my pocketbook.

Went to Umbral Plains and took out the giant mutant giraffe and Doomshade. Doomshade was amusing if only because of the length of the fight. Marres made a joke in guildchat that my harmtouch would recycle and I almost felt as though it would. However, an Earring of Endless Speed dropped which was actually a haste upgrade for me (up from 36). Funny story, on my first ever Doomshade raid back in the early PoP era, the earring dropped and my old character rolled a 998 on it. A gnome warrior in the raid rolled a 999. Finally I've been vindicated! Plugged the Sunderrock hotzone aug into it so the stats would look more respectable and I'm good to go.

Zelth-whoever (the giraffe) dropped junk that my baby shaman died trying to get. She did get a free Pebblecrusher from Radir later on, though.

Got a number of AA's on the necro. Got little warrior alt another couple levels. Finally got aug from HoH. Took a nap while Joph took out Doomshade. When I woke up, Doomshade was down to about 20%. Maybe next time I'll lend a hand. Although Umbral Plains is an awful place, just annoying all around.

Miss Mandie said she'd be on in the afternoon on Sunday...but nooooooo. Joph, myself, and Jonwin's trader had to defeat the game on our own.

No EQ this weekend, spend time in Bruges on Saturday and early Sunday. Did play some EQII on Sunday, exploring the new expansion there.

Haven't posted to this in a while as I've not played more than a few hours in the last 2 months. Mostly been playing with UI mods. But I got a good chunk of EQ in this weekend playing on both Sat and Sunday. 3 boxed my warrior, shammy and ranger with 2 cleric and one warrior merc. Played up in FM and Gyro-Zeka and just started grinding. Always fun pulling with the warrior. :) Dinged 79 on the ranger and have the shammy and warrior close to 81. Was interesting learning how the merc's work. Not overly impressed with the warrior merc as a second tank. Works best when you force the war merc to burn all its endurance and they become more like secondary dps. In a place like Zeka the warrior merc is barely more than a speed bump when there is two mobs in camp. Sold a few things as well and cracked the 3m pp level. Time to burn some pp on tradeskills. :)

Spent Friday night and Saturday in Sunderock racking up some AA. Now I'm ready to go back to leveling again.

Planned on playing Sunday but go so busy getting the house ready for Thanksgiving Day visitors that I was too pooped to log in. Sorry Marres and Joph. I sure would have liked to seen the Doomshade battle.

Random playing time throughout the weekend. Primary effort went into my junior trio as I try to get a little more help for my main.

Got like 2 or 3 levels for each of the low 20s trio. Managed a few minor upgrades to really crappy armor for them as well. Not going to invest much until they get up around 50 or so. Though I do have to say TSS armor is pretty solid for the lowbies. Problem is you seem to grow right through it.

Friday worked till 2 pm then went to American Visionary Arts museum to see new exhibits. It really is my favorite museum now that the Civil War Museum is closed. In game I had jonwin and courtin in hoh. Mostly Courtin. Jonwinnie got some play time as well.

Saturday. Worked at the light house. Very cold in the AM. When i came home I got jonwin and courtin in hoh again with always lost. Later joined by two friends in LI. Courtin dinged 72. Jonwin picked up a few aa's. Jonwinnie killed a few elite sand giants.

Sunday. Work on ship. Sunday evening the youngest daughter of Elne flew into town for the funeral service tomorrow. We had late dinner at middle daughters house, so other than trader moving things around there was no eq.
