What is the deal with EQ players?Follow

#1 Nov 20 2008 at 11:03 PM Rating: Good
I was looking at the leaderboard tonight and my HP/mana is all messed up. The numbers on the board are like 3k to low. If you click on my name it shows correctly. The unbuffed/buffed numbers are what they were when I logged off so I know it is updating, yet for some reason the leaderboard has completly different numbers.

It wouldn't be so bad if it was showing my numbers as higher (hehe) but come on, over 3k less hp/mana is killing me in the rankings.

So whats the deal?

You should ask this question on the SOE forums, I doubt you'll get an answer in here.

Most people on Alla don't like EQ Players anyway, it just used to be too buggy.

Three reasons that it may be low.

First, you know there is currently a bug with the hp/m/e that gives you more of the three than you should really have.

Secondly, It may be from heroic stats. I dont think EQplayers takes those stats into consideration.

Lastly, EQPLAYERS is not even close to being accurate ever. It is a waste of money for those that are still paying for it.

Edit: after rereading your post the bolded part is the answer i think.

I have noticed this too, the big thing being the difference between leaderboard listings and the actual characters when you click on them. It is like the leaderboard is in a time warp even though it constantly says "last updated 1 day 3 hours ago" or some variation of that.

The leaderboard list my hit points at about 12k (from about 2 or 3 years ago.
When I click on my character, it is pretty close to correct 22k ish hit points.

I wrote directly to the email link at eq players, about a week ago, and have yet to hear a response.

I knew it used to be broke, figured they would have it fixed by now.
