Heya all, had a nice weekend?

Thu/Fri: Grouping in Undershore and doing another Grobb MM, nothing special. Decided to clear the bank and started making 10lb Halas Meat Pies (I wonder the fillets in cream are still edible, they must have been in bank for half a year now), got a skillup (192). Pottered my first powersources! :-)

Logged on my baby warrior and dinged 38 and 39, then returned to my main and visited Sunderock (first time to zone) where I grouped with guildies. Those mobs are severe undercons (light blues might easily kill you).

Fri-Sun: No EQ, weekend city trip.

I was home last Friday, so I spent the day levelling my paladin.

I started out in Blackfeather Roost with my cleric merc, soon after that I had several fellow guildmembers join the group and we did a pretty good job of killing the bears and spiders in the spidercave at the entrance. I hit 55 and dinged a couple of AA's too.

On Saturday, I accidentally discovered an item that was part of the serpentine charm questline. After looking it up here, I decided to find a bunch of the items spread out over Crescent Reach and about all zones connected. Although a lot of them are in zones way above my own level, I did get a fair amount.

After that, I went back to the Roost to get lvl 56. Right now, I'm 100% on AA's for about 20 of them, there are lots of AA's that are too handy to have to wait for much longer. I'm doing little damage as it is, anything that will boost my crits and the likes I'll try and get asap.

On Sunday, I spent my time on EQII. Exploring the new guildhalls (really wel done, huge and a lot of handy functions) and wrapping up some grey quests to prepare for tomorrow! (new expansion too)

Too busy for EQ this weekend.

Did manage to watch a couple of movies. Starship troopers 3 was bad and and zombie movie that was so bad I have allready forgot the name. It featured China in a lead role and she didnt even get her name ( real name) in the credits.

I forget what I did in game Friday. It is probably due to my mouth hurting from having a tooth pulled Wednesday and the pain medication I was taking.
I know I played so I think it was the mage, and maybe a bit of the druid. Was having a bad time lagging using 2 accounts so I got out of feerrott. Finished one of the breath upgades for mage.
Oh and I played a bit on winjon in sunderorck with mandie and her sister. Got the eye aug for both winjon and later primrosex. Tried to kill the dragon there, got him down to 1 percent before the tank merc and 72 zerker died, I succored us out at that point.

Saturday I was off, started the day by doing 2 dains on Primrosex. Dinged 62 and got the shield upgrade as well as the charm. Still laggging so I shut down comp rebooted and did a file scan disk defrag.
Later in the day 2 folks from LI wanted to do a dain, had never done one. I had winjon in GD so we did a four toon dain with me boxing both clerics. Last pull was bad, CH were interrupted so dain died. Their comment was it was boring and wouldnt be doing dains again. I said it was boring but a good way to grind out AA's.
Later in the evening took courtin to group with them in sunderock. Used lod an one adventurers potion. Now 2 yellow from 72. Picked up the lore item from named basilisk and a few plant items for the shaman's alchemy.
Sunday After a day of work, and terrible pain due to headache and continued tooth/mouth pain I didnt do any grouping in eq. Just emptied bank space to do some alchemy on shaman, getting rogue ready to start poisonmaking, and looking at bazaar prices. Slow market so Im dropping prices on my traders.

FRI: No EQ on Friday or if I did I don't remember it.

SAT: Happened to be home during the day Saturday and remembered that Machin Shin of Xegony had open Anguish raids. So I decided that I would finally see Anguish. Was a fun time and am glad I finally got to see the zone, although not all of it. We cleared upto Ture and that's the event I won a roll. Then went to Bloody Kith with a guildie and just stayed around the zone in killing the animals.

SUN: Got on and did a Dain, then did the daily task in DSH, then a Dain, then to LP for another daily task, and finally ended the night with another Dain. It makes it real easy when you have a druid in the group.

Just want to thank Ronak and MS for putting those open raids on. I'm sure it takes a lot of patience to keep getting new players there that don't always know what they're doing.

Sat: Grinding out AA's

Sunday: A rare EQ day, 15 hours of party time. My pally friend made two levels in MPG to hit level 70. He was glad to get back to AA's.
I must have knocked out at least 25 AA's. I met a kewl 68 rogue. It has been forever since I had a rogue in group it was nice. Rogue dinged 69. We broke Battlemaster Denik camp in MPG. The turkey popped 1 in 6 spawns ewww.

Tired of no glowing runes in MPG, I had 70 beasty slow and pet made. It was worth every pp IMO. Pally had affirmation made to become a real 70 pally. We plan to stay 70 a long time. I enjoy our duos with buffs group has. So he should get his pp worth out of it.

Worked with Miss Mandie toward getting the necro level 73. She managed to keep us alive...something you always need to watch out for with her. Something about named mobs she's attracted to. Oh, and falling off bridges.

Also spent some time with a frog healer merc. Made hunting in Hate so much fun. Can tank light blue tier 2 mobs without worry about tapping health back. Between cash drops, armor, and tradeskill bits the cash is nice and the AAXP is ok too (with the AAXP gained from the armor exchange in POK it's even better). Not super fast, or anything, but Hate is a fun place to muck around. Look forward to taking on more challenging mobs with the merc.

I haven't seen Chlorr in a dog's age. Figures the weekend I don't play would be party time.

Mucked around with SK/Cleric duo with mercs in Blackfeather Roost. Getting AAs, some coin and a bit of XP on Fri and Sat. Went to the weekly raid on Fri night and won a roll for cleric. That was cool.

Tried my Duo in Sunderrock, made a mistake and got wiped.

Was invited into Direwind again with a guy who is working all his characters there. Went from low 68 to almost 70 in a matter of a few hours. Had some fun and got run over a few times. All in all a productive weekend.

Glad you could join our guild in anguish. I am kinda suprised that they only did up to Ture. Usually it is a full clear other than OMM. Have you registered on our webpage? If not, you should. Ronak posts time/raid targets for our open raids in the MS Open Raid Section. Also, once things calm done a bit with SoD faction we will be starting FC/AG open raids as well.

Friday night - As Jon mentioned, I grouped with him and my sister in Sunderock. Last pull we decided to take down Sandstorm. Fun fight but we wiped at 1%. I've gotten very skilled at getting Jon killed by that dragon. Smiley: sly

Saturday - No EQ. In between family stuff I pulled out the old NES and played Dragon Warrior as well as some other old games. FUN! Just hearing the opening music brought back many fond memories.

Sunday - Grouped with Marres in Sunderock. I didn't pull the dragon this time. Congrats on getting the new expansion, Marres. I told you the mercs were great!

It was one bridge and only one time. Yes, it was during a raid and I was one of the main healers, but still! Smiley: blush

Um, didn't you have a second character on auto-follow when you took the plunge? I can't remember...

I got a merc for my Beastlord during the week, you are right Mandie they are a super add in for those times when no one is around to group with and you aren't playing the same hours as the rest of your guild.Smiley: smile

I didn't get on through the weekend though, working nightshift this seven day stretch.

Dusted off Fortis after a several month leave of absence. Learned about mercs. Learned the merc healer can't miraculously save you when you walk right into a level 75 raid mob... but was shocked to then reappear fully clothed and on top of that to then be rezzed by my merc!

Mourned the loss of a piece of my elite status as a fully leader buffed toon by seeing that everyone now gets delegate-MA. However, separating out delegate-MT was excellent.

Went to Sunderock to get back into the flow of things and ding 71.
