The mercs are insane, i now will NEVER be LFG again.

I have 4 accounts and box SK, shaman, BST, mage and have all expansion on each account. I love what Soe has done by adding Merc to play, even though the class limitations is healer and tank, i have completed my SK 1.5, 2.0 with just 4 box + 4 merc = 2 cleric + 2 tank and not even felt in danger when doing the raid lvl mobs for the sk Epic 2.0

The tank mercs are insane, and the cleric mercs make looking for a HP buff a thing of the past. I just hope we still love our little mercs in 6 hours after the nerf bat.

Mmm Hmm, the Nerf Bat be a'comin, my child. I don't think it's going to be for the mercs though. I think we can expect lower spell drop rates, lower named spawn rates and some of the best loot (the beautiful BEAUTIFUL AC augs) getting put on the UBER rare list.

I'll be the first to celebrate if I'm wrong.

How did you set up your raid formation to get this to work?

2 Groups?

Sk, Sham, Merc, Merc

and

Beast, Mage, merc, merc?

Just curious. I'm a six boxer myself and would love to put the mercs to work for me. :) Hello Farming status.

Mercs can not be used on raids.

Actually, mercs cannot be used in raid instances... they are fine on normal zone raid mobs. I believe the reasons given were conflicts with merc code and the way encounter scritpts ran in many raid instances.
