X and ? next to Quest namesFollow

In the quest lists per zone, I find graphic X or ? here and there next to a quest.

I looked in the FAQs and everywhere, but I can't find the meaning of this. Does X mean it's over with, it's not there anymore? Does a question mark denote there are unknown things about this quest?

Hope someone can shed some light on the situation.

I'm not positive, but I believe X means there's missing info, but has been solved, just not all the info is listed. The ? on the other hand, means it's not been solved, or if it has no one has given the information needed to finish to Alla's.

That's just what I get from looking at several of them, it could mean something else, but it appears that is what they represent.
