Have we confirmed that healer mercs heal pets? So a healer merc would well compliment a mage or necro?

I don't not play those classes, but on eqplayers's forums, people are reporting that they are healing and buffing pets.

Is the 15min charge taken from cash in inventory or the bank or shared bank or what? I admit I haven't been paying attention.

It is taken from your inventory (the primary reason coin weight was removed). If you don't have the cash on hand, your merc will quit and you have to shell out the hire fee again. If you are running low on cash, you can always suspend your mercenary until you get more cash.

My (now) 46 ranger and healer merc soloed the entry hall in Sebilis last night, pulling everything from lt. blues to reds. She did attempt to flee once when I pulled a red & a yellow but rooting the yellow and pulling the red up the hallway was enough to convince her to come back.

I have an Apprentice Tier V tank, and on a serious overpull (err train I created), my two melee in my 4-box group died quickly. My merc tank hung in there long enough for my shaman and cleric to gate.
