Good morning fellow EQ players, here is the Weekend Update!
Wed: Joined grovers to kill Lord Ayrnar in FoB, a kind wizzy kited and we hacked him away. Got killed twice, but it was so much fun!
Thu: Blackfeather was pretty full, so my friends and I just burned through our lessons and went on to PoS. Exp was very well again, and full group rules! Including a quick Grobb MM, I had made 7 AAs. When the others had left, I joined a group of Iratus Lepus peeps (thank you so much!) and got 3 more updates on the "Visions"-task, just missing the WW update. A very nice 5-boxer took me in, and we killed Lord Chavair for the final update and the AC-aug.
Fri-Sun: Had to go to Rome for my company. Some minor playing in the hotel, dinging lvl 66 and farming some plat.
All in all a very productive EQ weekend!

Friday In the Am I was off so joined 2 folks in HoH, with, I think, my ranger. When he died from casting snare too soon and getting aggro, I also brought in Jonwin. Group broke up when we needed to do real life shopping and go to work.
Afer a trip to the grocery store I ran the ranger to finish steps on epic 1.0
Work was a reception on board ship. The caterers didn't leave any food for us, but hosts did leave a gratuity. (I of course donated my amount to the restoration fund if any IRS auditors are out there. )I came home and finished another ranger task.( Used the fire pot room in Tim deep for the first time on Thursday. Didnt end up in a kos city. )
Saturday Busy day at work what with the great fall weather. Lots of folks visited the ship. Came home tired but not too tired. Boxed jonwin and jonwinnie in HOH with the team from LI. Picked up a few parchments for the young 60s crowd. Also got the earring and aug over the past few times. Logged out shortly after Elne Clare came home from the Renn faire. Raised faction there!
Sunday Logging in early spent an hour or so in HOH with shaman Jonwinne. Took a break for chores, cooking, some TV, watched Ravens lose as expected. Logged on rogue in droga, ranger to run to tim deep for the second time. Played on baby druid, raised her to 7 turned in a few crushbone belts I had in the banks.
Had keyboard trouble which took me a bit to fix. So that ended all of my exp time.

Only a little time on Sun to game. Took the NEC out with the DRU and Double burned lesson.

Didn't do all that much with my main, I finished up the two named kills quest in Goru'kar Mesa, spent some time on killing the giants there but it's a bit too slow for good xp. I got a tenth AA point, but I'm going to focus on getting my lvl up to 56 before looking at AA's again.
I tried my luck in Blackfeather, but after a very close call and subsequent death, I decided it's not worth the trouble just as yet, not on my own anyway.
So I switched to my lowly lvl 10 shaman, waiting in Crescent Reach, got three levels and a couple new armour parts.
I also need to learn to remember who's who as people I should have recognized by name buff me and I only recall who they are about an hour later! Anyway, thanks for that buff though!

FRI: Got a group in DSH hunting minos. Was a pretty good group got about 40% of a level that night and a bunch of items for my shamans alchemy.
SAT: Logged on but not for long. Went to Fort Mech with the wizzie Bbot talked about, but after a couple pulls with adds decided just to call it.
SUN: Went back to DSH with a guildie and picked up a few others. Xp moved fast and finished a few faction task for Aknon. After that we took another guildie to Sunderock and did some xping there. Dinged 74 there while the cleric and mage we had with us dinged 72 and 71. The cleric also got two of the TSS molds from the names.

SUN: Went back to DSH with a guildie and picked up a few others. Xp moved fast and finished a few faction task for Aknon. After that we took another guildie to Sunderock and did some xping there. No EQ again this weekend. Watched 2 more MST3K episodes with a friend: The Beast of Yucca Flats and City Limits. Both were terrible and amusing at the same time.

Fri: Logged on for a bit. Soloed in Natimbi with SK for the heck of it waiting for guild Epic raiding. Had fun at the raid then logged.
Sat: Got on before the raid and soloed again for a little while in Natimibi. Then we continued raiding for Crystallos access. Now have 6 of the 10 essences.
Sun: Got on for a short bit and dragged cleric over to Natimbi to absorb xp from the SK. At some point I will drag the four pack back to PoS but this is just as easy for now.

Fri: Again, I have forgotten :( Think I spent some time in Sebilis and GE again. I know I tried the thorns in Mesa, but the DS aura was too painful to be able to do the named, so after 5 or 6, I gave up. Anyone know of way to disable the aura for a time? They hit average, but that 200 / tick DS aura adds up quick, especially when you get more than one on you.
Sat: Definitely spent some time in Sebilis, was going well, till I got to chit-chatting and quit paying attention and didn't notice the Rng snare not landing, and had to gate the Rng, and tried to gate the War, but got spell-interrupted while Riposte disc going, and of course War disc at 12s, gives no time for a 2nd chance :(
Also, worked on website graphics for a while.
Sun: Did almost nothing in EQ, but did get a few AAs and made a level in Grieg's, was really nice for how little time I played. Spent most of the time windowed out, working on the website graphics. Finished the rest of them today, now working on the scripting to get a good template started. Didn't realize how long it had been since I've done any HTML, and my usual coding is way out-dated now :D Oh well, it gives me something to work on besides EQ :)

Sat: Definitely spent some time in Sebilis, was going well, till I got to chit-chatting and quit paying attention and didn't notice the Rng snare not landing, and had to gate the Rng, and tried to gate the War, but got spell-interrupted while Riposte disc going, and of course War disc at 12s, gives no time for a 2nd chance :(
