Due to Warhammer, I didn't play much EQI either. I did find the time to finish the Barak Lightforge quest and after that I went back to Goru'kar Mesa to get the two named tasks done there. I got the bear after about one hour, but the wolf was rather elusive. I'll try again next time, very profitable place to hunt with almost 1k in under two hours and five defiant drops.

Been playing on Tunare again. Have a new War and Clr combo, as well as Shm and Rng I had leveled up a bit first time trying out the server.

As usual, I can't remember what I did each day, but one of them, which I think was Friday, I spent about 6hrs in Sebilis at the Spore King camp, got 3 spawns, 2 of the crappy robe, 1 fungi covered great staff, but of course I was looking for the tunic. Worked on the Wiki Tribute page a little bit, but realized I needed to learn more about Wiki markup first.

Saturday, I spent some time in Roost and done the kill 20 cats quest, then decided to leave as it got very crowded on the 1st isle and the only one I have access to. Then went back to my usual solo grind spot of Velkator's, got a semi-group, as I had the Rng in group leeching experience since other computer was being used, but got a 3rd person so I earned about 1 LAA or more, as well as several regular AAs.

Tried some Grieg's End on each day (Fri, Sat, and Sun). Got 2 Waistwraps for War and Rng, and Book of Impracticality for tribute. Yay! 20K+ now, so I don't feel bad about using it now, though I haven't since it's all been relatively easy spots, 'cept trying to duo War + Rng in GE led to problems at times. Jeez I can't wait for Rng to get a good heal :) 100hps / cast on a 7K+ War does very little :(

I did something else later Sun, then ended up back in Velks. Found some good Wiki markup info on Sat and finished up the Wiki Tribute page edits Sun night / Mon morning.

Was alot more, but I don't remember now :D

Thu: First session in more than 4 weeks. We went to Blackfeather, Nec and War managed a steady pulling (all mobs light blue). Experience flew, made 5-6 AAs in about 2 hours. Harvested a bit in the Mesa afterwards, but got tired soon.

Fri-Sun: Spent the weekend in the Alps, we went hiking. 1.200 meters difference in altitude (within 3 hours) didn't seem too hard, until we had to walk down again...

Sun: General elections in Austria, 30% voted for right-wing demagogic parties. As a liberal politician said, "Living here just doesn't feel as agreeable as before..."

Edit: Yther, why not do the quest to access the other isles in Blackfeather? It's pretty easy, and you won't find too many people there!

Real slow weekend due to real life stuff. Most entertaining thing was going to Western Wastes and wiping out the dragon population there (no Klandicar or Sontalak). I need to hit up some more recently implemented zones Smiley: laugh

Elegant Silvery Ring from Droga is a nice boost if you're looking for one. The ring itself is nothing special but it's worth over 10,000 tribute. Pretty easy to get, too.

No EQ for me. Managed to watch the MST3K versions of Space Mutiny and Parts: The Clonus Horror--they were both awesome and horrible at the same time.

Started a copy of the book 1491: New Revelations of the Americas Before Columbus, which I've wanted to read for a while now.

Pretty quiet overall.

FRI: Went to The Steppes with a couple guildies to kill the giants for spells. Got a few rank II spells but nothing to exciting.

SAT: When I logged on they were back at it again hunting giants for spells. After about 20 mins of killing after I got there, Tenacity Rk II dropped! Our cleric was excited as were the rest of us. We then went to Sunder for some HZ action, but it didn't seem to hot. I did get a couple pieces for the charm of lore and a few aa's out of it though.

SUN: Got on and ran to DSH looking for a group. Got in a group were a mage was using pet as tank. Being a warrior I really dislike these type of groups but I wanted to at least finish the aa that was 80% done. After about 20 mins of killing I ran out of arrows and said something about it. The mage then said "I need to go afk for a while you probably should go lfg." The mage didn't go afk, because I snuck around and watched him kill some more. Instead of worrying about it I just logged for the night.

Not much EQ this weekend and, in fact, I never even logged onto my main.

Friday and Saturday: Leveled my Iksar BST in Cresent Reach and Blightfire. Blightfire still gives decent experience even though it isn't a hotzone anymore. I also discovered that the Spirit of Khaliz spell is almost impossible to get in East Cabilis. I had to log onto another alt and go to Halas to get it.

Sunday: No EQ. On a whim, I bought the new Star Wars game, Legacy of the Force for PS2. I wasn't disappointed but I went in with no expectations. Its really just a simple hack and slash.

I had an Iksar BST (since turned into a Bazaar mule) and found that it was much easier to just buy my spells in Shar Val. The cats like you just fine and there's no Tomb Raider leaps to make just to buy a damn copy of Flash of Light.

Played Friday night. Was 4 boxing in Plane of Storms and then a friend showed up with his monk. Did our lessons, got a few AAs, bought a new leadership AA, made 62 with cleric. While trying to get the last bit of 70 for the monk, we pull a named giant out of the camp. Tore us apart, though with no strategy we got him down to 75%. Was funny and sad, cause it ended our night without him making it.

Had friends over Sat for a BBQ in the rain. Late night and a good time.

Slept in, ran errands and followed almost a standard Sunday of late.

Friday after work, I went to the Baltimore Book festival. Stopped by BSFS booth, then wandered to the children's literature tent for a panel of Newberry winners.
Bought Avi's book IRON THUNDER a historical fiction novel of the Monitor vsVirginnia/Merrimac fight. In eq it was the EK hand in for ranger epic.
Boxed jonwin with adeste and had 2 other folks from Lucky Insane guild help out.
Parked Jon near the dark reavers spawn so they aggroed on him. Just turned on auto attack and started running ranger to hill. Now to finish the foraging, have to check the bank.

Saturday was a very rainy day at the book festival. I got there at 1130 AM and stayed till 640 PM. I stayed a lot in the childrens area simply because of the good programming. Heard AVI again, let him know of the mistake I found. Told him he was in good company as Melville admitted to making a mistake on whaling in MOBYRichard (Hmm a bad word filter?).Avi stated that he knew the correct facts and was puzzled to how he silpped up.
I heard Daniel Mark Epstein talk about his new biography about THE LINCOLN'S and am looking forward to reading it.
Finally the big event I had been waiting for the talk by Tamora Pierce. Elne Clare even made it out in the rain to here an author her daughter had first found and introduced the books to. Fun talk! I hope to get her to be a Balticon GOH for when I am conchair a few years from now.
Came home to eq. Joined a LI group in HOH with Jonwin and Jonwinnie. Burned LOD and earned some aa's. Later on took shaman to Hate for LI raid. Died to Inny but fun for my first time there.

Sunday. Was scheduled to be off and had logged into rogue in Drooga. He died as I logged in and walked away from keyboard. Seems I didn't Hide/sneak before camping out after all. Ran him back and took along the 35 druid for fun in FM between Rogue fights. Called into work. Came home and finished game of empire deluxe and doing some killing on druid elne clare. ding 36.
