I hadnt been to PoS in years. So I went there last night with a friend as a SK/Cleric duo. We zone in and at the ent area there, we pull a couple with ease and no problems. My friend pulls another and brings like 8 or 9. Sk dies and I barely gate out with a sliver of life.

I am wondering if anyone knows of a spot or two that we could go to single or double pull with here ease, if there is such a place. Perhaps a place where I could solo with my 66 sk as well?

I was around level 71 when I started soloing in PoS
but here is what I did and it worked well.

I went through the underwater tunnel to the north
east corner.

I stayed along the ridge/mountain line and pulled
singles as they wandered near. That might slow things
down a bit for ya, but its safer in the long run.

I rarely if ever got adds.

If its too tough for you to solo it should work
well with a group.

I have a 66 Monk/Druid combo and have few problem with PoStorms. One thing I learned was keep your eyes open and don't "pull" mobs. Animals all have social argo. Go to the mobs and fight them where they are. You do have a chance to get an add if mobs walk by. But, if you go and pull and mob, then bring it back, you could argo several wandering mobs while returning to "camp".

On the first "island" the mobs are fairly spread out with a few wanderers so it's fairly easy to fight one in place without getting adds. If you go past the river to the second "island", Then you increase your changes due to all the wandering mobs. On the second island I have had 3-4 mobs end up on me when I started fighting one mob.

On the 8 or 9 mob pull, my guess is two things probably happened. There was a train elsewhere that he picked up, or he ran close enough to several wandering mobs to get argo. But I am guessing it was a train he hitched a ride on.

One other thing...

In the North East corner (I dont know how else to describe
it) are the big frogs... hurricane loruks or something like
that.
They are great for killing.
They don't summon. They are rootable.
And the regular animals won't aggro if you attack one,
only other giant frogs will.
They might be a bit tough for level 66, but it has been
working for me.

I two boxed a shaman/ranger here on and off from levels 60-65. The best spot I found for those levels is on the beach half way between the two rivers. Like the previous poster said, you've really gotta watch out for roamers and pulling a casting mob will almost garantee adds. But it was fairly safe and you're not too far from the zone out if you get a few adds you know you're going to be able to handle.
