A nice long (US) weekend.

SAT: More grindage of the AA's. Im really looking forward to going back to leveling.

SUN: Yup you guessed it. Watched men in black in HD. Really enjoyed it.

MON: Here we go again........

Friday After work I was playing a bit in old seb with druid and paladin, burned off LOD. Then I logged on Jonwin for the same reason in the same place. Shaman will be happy with all the flower drops I was getting.
I also broke down and started a drakkin druid for the Courtin account. Its just so handy playing Primrose on Jon's account porting places, even if the guild hall ports take you most places a druid can. Got him to 4 before logging.

Saturday was a no work day! I was on eq most of the day. Shrouded down shaman to farm spiderling silks. Ran primrose around blight fire doing quest in tss. Guild cleric was completing her epic so i took courtin and primrose there to kill for a half hour. My mobs didnt drop any shards and the other group was killing faster so I left. Back to buffing a bit and going back to brightfire for prim. After a break I came back on to find the cleric ready for final fight. Logged on winjon hoping that burnt book would drop. ragefire died easily despite fearing two of us. I then shrouded down Jonwin to group with a younger guildmate in PC.To close out the day I ran 2 paladins to fob in preperation to hunt WW for silverwing items.

Sunday was tours on the trolley. 2 nice groups very nice tips. I came home and logged on Primrose doing a few more tasks in moors. Had cump in drooga still so I kept popping him on and off but during dinner prep it seems I got knocked into one of the places where you can hit the mob but it hits you. So i rezzed and rebuffed and ran him back. Only 2 of the 3 mobs on top are visible now. Where did the 3rd one go? Into the wall perhaps?

Monday Worked at the lighthouse. Came home and elne had a bad headache so I just stayed out of her way after sharing some candy and a tin of nuts with her.
Rogue play on and off in drooga. Primrose in moors. Logged on chanter to see if she could at 41 take on ice giants. (Actually it was to turn in 2 polar bear skins in halas, remember that quest?) She did but only thanks to the foresight of loading a fear spell. Snow orc troopers very annoying so I may just switch to so ro and the sand giant elites.
I had a small talk with the leader of one of the EST time raiding guilds. (He sent me a tell when I had shaman on in lobby.) It is a sign of the times I guess when a person showing a guild tag (Aude Sapere in shaman's case) is invited to join another guild. ( Not that I think bad about the chat or the invite.)
Played with the boys in WW for a bit then brought out new druid to Cr. Did a half hour or so of play but logged for the night after falling frm the 2nd story. I hate those elevators more than any other cities.

Didn't do much this weekend, despite what I hoped the week before.

Friday, long day at work, not much time.

Saturday, visited my parents, after that I picked up my new kitten to keep the other one company. As to be expected, I was keeping my old kitten in check so he wouldn't kill the new one.

Sunday, as the two kittens seem to have battled it out during the night, and the new one lost miserably, I actually had a decent playing time. I went to try and quest in Old Sebilis, after getting an AA along the way by slaughtering all green and lightblue undead I find a drop in Trakanon's that leads me to Warslik Woods for a rare drop. Even if all mobs there were grey, I did get a nice drop that boosts my ATK, even only for a little bit. (Goblin skull earring I believe) After killing almost all mobs in the zone, I get the drop and the new quest starter so I went to Dawnshrouds Peaks and spent quite some time there too to get the shard to drop. After that I did go back to Old Sebilis, invissed my way through so I was out of the way of groups (first time in a low lvl zone that I actually saw groups) and then died because of unexpected adds and me not finding the exit.

Monday, I got a third AA (run speed at 3 now, I wonder if that's faster than my J-boots) and have just killed off the undead in Trakanon's. Sure, it's fairly slow, but it is steady and nobody else is even in the zone. Not that they would bother me naturally, but that does mean the undead supply is mine alone.

Saturday (or maybe it was Sunday) - had some crystals burning a hole in my pocket, so I ran the gang to Lavastorm to look for some upgrades. Didn't really find anything exciting to purchase.

Logged the necro in for a few hours and went to Blackfeather Roost. Had great fun kiting in all that wide open space. AAs came pretty quickly and enjoyed playing her again.

Didn't do much. Took the baby ranger to Dawnshroud for the Silverwing shoulders and, after a night of killing lt. blue-green con mutant space camels, took my SK there instead to slash and burn the place. Finally got them off a caveman.

The next day, I took the ranger to Trak's Teeth/Warslik's as well but actually got my drops the legitimate way. Finished off 43 & 44 old school in Dreadlands and dinged 45, combined my shoulders with a shard I had banked, inserted my Wakening Lands augment and called it a weekend. Not very exciting, I'm afraid.

Spent time mucking about with alts on The Combine. Spent time annoying Miss Mandie (as usual) and got a couple levels on my little druid.

Saturday and yesterday spent some time at a nearby historic site/park to walk around and enjoy the nice weather. After a really wet July and early August, we're finally into a run of warm dry weather. Mosquitoes are out in force, and the repellent just seems to attract them.

Unfortunately another weekend of travel and no EQ.

I went to a longtime friend's daughter's sweet sixteen on Friday.

Saw the other half's family on Sat.

Drove all the way home for a BBQ on sunday.

Then did all the stuff I put off over the weekend on the holiday monday.

A lot of fun but at the same time "kinda" glad to be back at work?!?!?!

Friday night: NO EQ, watched Grindhouse. For some strange reason, I really enjoyed it.

Saturday Night: Raided Anguish with my guild. Won a Cloak of Wailing Woes on a roll. A very nice upgrade.

Sunday: Hung out with my guild friends doing some missions in Thalassius, the Coral Keep. I ground out 8 AA's that night before switching over to regular exp. Earned about 100 Orux also.

Monday: Hung out in Sunderock Springs just killing drakes. Nothing special...

That's right. I forgot about The Combine time. Had some fun goofing around on there this week-end. The server has a fairly good lowbie population. It's been fun.

What a pretty park! I'm glad you had a good time.

My 6-week renovation/dead computer imposed EQ break ended so I rolled a new character last Wednesday. By the end of the long weekend I had managed to solo (all but a level in guk) the little barbarian beastlord to 42. Definately my most focused/fastest levelling ever, and I don't have that many hours logged on the character.

Except for Monday afternoon (holiday) there was basically no one on playing lower level characters so it was very quiet (and I travelled all over).

I actually spent more time moving gear from alts/accounts and and bags of stuff my now retired from EQ friends had given me just before my hiatus. I'd rather have them in the game than the gear I admit...
