trap in blackfeather roostFollow

I was killed today by the gust of wind trap in blackfeather roost. I wasn't anywhere near the cliff edge. What is the point of arbitrarily killing players with something that comes out of nowhere? It doesn't present a meaningful challenge to be randomly killed and tells me that the development staff just plain doesn't have a clue what they are doing. This, along with the apparent deadliness of riding a horse have pushed me to the point that I'm not all that interested in this game anymore. I discontinued payment on my account, but will keep my trader up to eat their bandwidth. I should probably set up a spell casting loop as well. I may be back, but I wouldn't count on it.

You're such a rebel. Your trader and spell casting macro is sure to get them back for this horrible injustice.

In fact, I'm resubscribing my account just to keep a trader up!

Wonderful useless commentary. I have no delusions that I'm going to hurt them significantly. However, I'm going to make sure they have the expense they would incur if I were to be playing for the rest of the month.

So, why do you think a random death trap that is pretty much undetectable is acceptable in the game you play? I don't mind dying in the game. It just pisses me off when I don't have a reasonable chance to avoid it.

"He" is the OP. He was referring to Quad's response.

Your reasonable chance is to not go to the area of the zone in which the trap is, or deal with the trap being there. If the death trap is undetectable, then how do you know it's there?

Well, I apologize for attempting to clear things up. The OP was sub-defaulted, so I wasn't sure if you had read it.
