Here it is again, the famous Weekend Update!

Thu: Grouping in PoStorms, first time there. The zone seemed bugged as mobs wouldn't respawn. We killed 100+ mobs but didn't get a single hot zone augment...? When my friends left, I had a look at Blackfeather Roost - always wanted to do the progression task (Travel to the first ledge/harpy mesa etc.) and found out that it is pretty easy now at lvl 65! Got a Fossilized Griffon Eye on the 5th mob and two more in the next hour. Made several AAs, bought Spell Casting Reinforcement II and Combat Agility IV and V.

Fri: My birthtday, ding IRL 31! A little more soloing in Blackfeather, and some more bugs as all Veteran Rewards were not useable. As birthday present, I got a Gnollish Leather Tunic in Bazaar for only 15k (on Xegony, they go for 40k+)! Was so happy 'bout this now that BB revamp is going to end soo... Had a fabulous dinner with my fiancé.

Sat-Sun: No EQ, but BBQ and lots of beer.

This will be the last weekend update for me for quite some time, going to marry next weekend and then it's off to honeymoon. See you in a month!

SUN: More of the same.

Weekend Whine(TM): A new dingleberry fount my fav camp spot this weekend. We started out adventurd with him sending me multipal tells wile I was in midst of a pull asking me if I was "pulling these gators", Now let me paint you a pic. There I am in skelly form.....in a pile of 13-15 gator corpses....with another gator kited behind me...Pet wapping away on the gator....5 gators risen from the dead helping out the pet.....I understand he must of thought I was part of Norraths clean up crew.........Then he asks " mind if I loot those corpses?"......Theres your sign.......

Maybe he was part of the clean up crew. I myself hate to see corpse lying around.

Friday, picked up the silverwing aug from permafrost. Tried it earlier in the week with the paladins in shroud but too much problem with runners. Unshrouded it took me about 20 min for each to get the drop. Now off to traks teeth.
Logged on rouge to kill a few more mobs in Drooga, wiped out large amounts in MM with second cleric.

Saturday No work so I played around with getting bl buffed and pet toys. Took him to rathe mnts on HG hunt and burned off lod.
Courtin Went with Ignia an 80 warrior to do some tasks on BiC aug. Got the first 3 steps done. But she went LD and I camped cleric.
Took druid and paladin to traks teeth for silverwing hunt. Lots of slaughter, thank god for paladin heal aggro as druid seemed to be a big favorite target. Actually the difficulty was in having SOE and mob knockbacks kept pushing the guys out of my melee range but not theirs. Being caught up in the middle of a major pathing crossroads probably didnt hurt either. No deaths, one silverwing drop, some exp from LB and green mobs. Not many of those however.
Killed a few more goblins in drooga. Got the aug from fm.

Sunday Work on the Lightship, some fun with all Yankee fans in town for ballgame. Orioles were swept however. (
In game it was another druid paladin run to TT. Buffing with cleric, running Jonwin to TT as well, and one round of kiling 3 entrance goblins in Drooga.

Decent weekend...

Friday: banged out a few AA's for my ranger and then raided with the guild.

Saturday: Leveled my SK to 48. Switched to my ranger and raided with my guild.

Sunday: No EQ. Went Stripper fishing in Boston Harbor. I landed a 41 inch, 25 lb bass. WOOT!!

FRI: Various DoN factioning, a DSH group, and some Loping Plains on the Ranger. Dinged several AA's. Worked Smithing to 210 (lol@ the spell-checker which wants to replace "smithing" with "smiting!").

SAT: My first CoA Raid. Had a lot of good people along and we made it to OMM before wiping to the arch mage. No worries, I won a Rigid Ring of Prowess and a Rune of Futile Resolutions to put in it. Woot! Leveled the Monk to 59.

SUN: Very little EQ, slept most of the day, lol. I did manage to grind about 3 yellow towards 75 on the Ranger, and get a few AAs as well.

Decent weekend in EQ-land here. Took my ranger to Wakening Lands at lvl 41 and found it only barely worth the effort. For a lvl 45 hotzone, much of it is already light blue to me in the forest. Mind you, I was most interested in the fauna I could fear kite as opposed to giants, geonoids and holgresh. I got my petrified holgresh eye (nice aug for the level; +5 to all stats and some AC), made lvl 42 and skedattled on out. I doubt I'll go back.

Hit lvl 67 on my Shadowknight officially making her my "main" as she passes my lvl 66 bard. Managed to get a few Muramite runes via setting my trader to barter and got 2 of my lvl 66 and 2 of my lvl 67 spells. Spent time in Splitpaw with guildies (which gave me most of 66) and then went to Sebilis where I finished the level on hotzone bonused Sebilite Juggernauts and Reets. A raid came in to do Undead Bard so I wished them well and left, later going to Acrylia Caverns to try to farm a Blackened Acrylia Blade for the ranger. No luck after three spawns (it was bedtime) but I did get an old hotzone augment from there which was surprisingly good compared to most of the ones they have in the new hotzones (I think it was +10 AC and +40 HP).

I know what you mean, I went there with my paladin at lvl 49, to see what I could hunt there. I ended up in Skyshrine, all lightblue too but easier to fight and seemingly better xp.

Did not do much this weekend, I did get lucky with several spawns. I finally have my very first AA point!

All on Friday too, first I finished the named sand giant quest in North Ro, at least I had a bundle of pp after several days of camping them. After that, I decided to try Castle Mistmoore, to get one of the missing pieces of the Lightforge questline. After using up about 2 cloudy potions, I start to remember from years ago that invis and invis vs undead do not stack so it's no wonder the undead in the castle spotted me. After I killed him and some adds, I manage to find my way around the castle again and get the bone I needed from the garden. I also found the spot to camp the mob for my Soulfire questline, but unfortunately he wasn't up.

After that, I decided to stack up on cloudy potions again, whilst doing so, I remembered that I needed to quest in the Gulf one more time for another spell. As it's a healing spell, for lvl 52, I thought why not try it and see if I get lucky. I did, the hidden area in the harbour was being cleared by someone trying to spawn the Soulripper (or so I think the mob was called) and as I arrived, my mob spawns and I get the spell.

I didn't even die trying to get out again, which I recall doing the last time years ago as I got stuck in the entrance. As I was able to invis, getting stuck this time didn't matter much.

Getting the spell, I decided to find another part of the Lightforge bones, this time in Steamfont. Meldrath was only green to me, his fear never stuck so he went down very rapidly. Now I only need to go inside Kedge Keep for the last part of the bones. I am not looking forward to that one, I died several times last I did that.

I'm going to try and wrap up my Soulfire next weekend. I only need to kill Lucan D'Lere and Xicotl (the SK in Castle Mistmoore) and raise my faction a bit with the knights of truth and the marr faction. Worries for next weekend I suppose, especially Lucan doesn't seem to be as easy anymore as it used to be before the revamp of Freeport.

I haven't been playing hardly at all the last 3 weeks or so due to some medical problems. Starting to feel better so logged in a bit this week-end.

I joined Marres on The Combine for some baby alt madness. I always twink my alts, so starting from scratch was a big change. It was more fun then I thought!

Spent most of Sunday in Paw grinding away. Guildies joined up and we mass slaughtered. My chanter dinged 70, zerker and cleric got a couple golds. It's good to be back!

Congrats on the up-coming nuptials, bbot!! I wish you much happiness.

A pally 1.0 underway on Stromm eh? Feel free to send a tell to Saeel if you need any assistance, will help if I'm able and available. (We're technically allies by guild relation already, though you may not have known that, hehe.)

They will stack if you cast regular invis on yourself and someone else casts IVU.
When both are required and we have someone who can cast group IVU, I ask them to start casting group IVU and as soon as they start to cast I hit Shared Camouflage AA, both stack.

I seem to recall exceptions to mixing IVU and regular invis, but it can be done in most cases. Seems there was some specific invis(es) that would overwite IVU rather than stack, but I cant remember specifics.

Could be, I'm only familiar with stacking Shared Camouflage AA (druid or ranger, I have both) with cleric Sunskin.
