Hi all. I read that Oak Bark may be a ground spawn in Butcherblock Mountains. I even found a link to an EQatlas map on Allakhazam page for the item.

However when I went there, I never found any ground spawns to speak of. Does anyone know if there is a special time of day the oak bark drops? Or does this ground spawn even occur any more? Thanks in advance for any assistance.

The answer to your question is in your post. The link you provided gives several locations where the bark may be found.
If you aren't having any luck with the BB ground spawn, try foraging in the entrance to Kith or Warslik's Woods. All classes get forage I THINK by an AA, but if you are too low level or cannot forage, have an alt or a friend forage it for you. It appears to be tradeable.
I just got one in Kith - will have a look see in BB for the ground spawn. Being a druid though, it was easier for me to forage...
