Currently working my way through Akheva after just finishing up in Dulak... It's decent experience (15% per kill), but the time/effort it takes to kill / experience I get, doesn't seem worth it.
Any tips on where I can go that gives a bit better effort:experience ratio?

I go straight from Dulak to Nadox and skip AR. Luclin (Ak'heva) mobs have too many HPs, and the traps and other annoying parts of the zone make it not worth the effort.

Nadox? Really? Hunting what exactly... I'd think the trolls would be too high
Mobs start at low 40s, but most are upper 40s and low 50s, but as a Necro shouldn't have too much trouble with the lower level ones, especially if you're gonna kite them. May have trouble at start clearing a path to kite them. Can also usually get groups there, if you need to make a few levels before you start soloing them.
Most of my toons are melee so I stick to Dulak till upper 40s, before I move to Nadox when soloing.

Dulak is a good zone, yes, but Stone hive is much better with the Hot zone bonus going on at lvl 40. You would do much better there, if you can stand all the silly no-drop junk the bees have on them. Seriously it is like 4-5 no drop things per mob. Honey, pollen, sap, bee-wine, etc. Constantantly hitting delete button because "Loot All" doesnt work well with no drop things filling up your inventory.
Stone Hive is 35 Hot zone, Dulak is 40 Hot Zone, Skyshrine is 45, AR is 50, and Nadox is 55. All descent zones, but AR prob the worst of them.

I agree with Yther. I stuck with Dulak's until level 50 actually, when I was leveling my shammy alt. The kills are very quick, and you can progress from ship to ship as you gain levels. Then right into Nadox.
In Nadox, I prefer the huge room, that is just outside the room that has Inny. There are two little rooms towards the back, and one of those rooms is where I set up. I clear the room I am in, move to the other room, clear, then go back. If you group, then you can pretty much clear this whole area, just before it starts to respawn. Love this area.

If Dulak is too crowded etc, hit up undead stables in City of Mist. The undead there don't have many hps at all. Go through the 1st gate in CoM hang a left boom you there.
