1) new expansion title: Secret Factions of the Factioned Planes of Faction
2) 14 new zones! (requires 28 different factions to access)
3) 3 new mob types: The faction bender, the factionator and the faction..thing..guy
4) a 5 tier raid progression with a new script element: FACTION! You have to gain faction DURING the raid!
5) FACTION! 75 NEW FACTIONS TO GET MAX ALLY WITH!
6) did we mention FACTION!
It's probably going to be another "we didn't actually WRITE anything, so we just added 300 new factions" expansion. I mean seriously... riftseekers AND time? Which half-wit phoned THIS idea in?

Faction was horrid in SoF, there is no denying it. The post is a little extreme but I'm not going to fault the guy. I'm actually looking forward to the new expansion, the spell data and AA data around on the web is really impressive, looks like they put a little thought into things this time. So help me though, if sk lich and beastlord haste are still worse than what you can get from a potion in the pok I will have words for them in beta. I won't speculate on storyline, but if the druid bloom heal idea pans out it could work really good... or really bad. Stacking issues could cause it to be never used (if it doesn't stack with hot it's useless, if it does it's probably overpowered.) I'm trying to find the site I looked at all the spell crap on for reference as some don't have any idea what a bloom heal is or what the stance AAs are...

Lose for druid + cleric groups, bloom heal and HoT are both are type 2, they will not stack.

Not much to go off. Unless it includes some lower level zones I won't be buying it anyways. The faction grind got me on the last one so my 80's are behind on gear and all the people that I knew that were fun to play with have left the game now. So, in essence, my 80's are retired except for buffing.
Lately I have pulled out a couple of old chars that I have been wanting to play and am pretty content 2 boxing in the old zones. The new AA scheme really helps as I feel like I am getting somewhere now vs. the old days when it was just to much of a grind to work on a new char.
I have not heard anything about spells or AA's, what have you heard or inferred from what you have heard?
And i do not begrudge the poster about faction, i am nowhere near close to crystallos flagged, i gave up because of the sheer amount of factioning you need to do.

If they do a good job on this expansion, and don't make it another horrendous faction grind, I might consider coming back to try it out... if it's all faction, I hope Sony wakes up soon and realizes what the players want.

My two favorite plotlines were the Planes of Power and the Omens of War stories. If they make an interesting merge of the two, and kill the ridiculous faction grinding, then I will be quite happy with this.
Link provided that shows all spell data and AA data for all levels (including 80-85) above. It's actually made from Lucy, but somewhat easier to view and easier to find AAs in (all of clicking one link)
If they are gonna unlock the disc timers from each other for Monks, I might care....
