Anyone know if there is a website that has overviews of maps, that I don't need to download. I've tried using mapfiend to actually download them a few years ago, but it seemed like it only put a few here and there into my folder. Kind of a bummer not knowing where you're going and can't get any maps.
Any info greatly appreciated.

Why would you want an overview of maps, but not download them??
The easiest way to get all maps is indeed www.mapfiend.net - choose "map packs" in the left menu, tackle "ALL Maps", save the .zip-file and extract it into your EQ map folder. And voilà , you should have no more problems finding your way.

What bbot suggested is the only website I have found that hosts the in game maps. If you're insistent on having something to look at out of game, go to EQAtlas. They only go up to PoP but they came in very handy when I used to run SSRA.
The above 2 posts covered pretty much everything, unless you're wanting to create your own maps. It's pretty self-explanatory if you open the map window and click the Tools button at the bottom right.

I downloaded the map from mapfiend however some of the maps are in an undesirable color (such as light gray or yellow)... anyway to change this quickly?
Try Mappie if you don't want to manually edit them. Mappie can be found here.
