Trying to spark up some more activity on Alla since it's been dying down a bit lately. Feel free to contribute some named spawns, quests, etc. that can be soloed at level XX.

I'm personally looking for something to do at mid 60, but as for my contribution:
Fun spawns / Named kills:
Mid 30s:
Brazier of Elemental Summoning: A great item to give to a twink, instantly summons a level 12 fire pet. Any class can use it at any level. The spawn is a bit long, but can be worth it if you want a fun new toy.

Low 60s:
A Dusty Soriz Worker Pouch: Soloable with add / runner management. Thanks to mfbrownbear for this.
Wand of Imperceptibility: Soloable with add / runner management. Thanks to mfbrownbear for this.

Quests
Mid 40s:
Scout Madu quests in Goru`kar Mesa: Easy to solo at around level 50, easily grouped in mid 40s - gives very good armor for the level.
Glaive of Marltek: Snare weapon that may be useful for soloing melee classes. Thanks to JoltinJoe for this.

Mid 50s:
Fisherman's Companion: Clicky summoned fishing pole, that summons ale. Thanks to mfbrownbear for this.
Wenglawks Manly Purse: Useful weight reducing bag, easy with some factioning involved. Thanks to JoltinJoe for this.
Tserrina's Whip: Potentially useful combat snare effect for soloing melee. Thanks to JoltinJoe for this.

Any chance of getting a wiki article for this? It's looking kind of empty.

How about this?

https://everquest.allakhazam.com/wiki/EQ:Leveling

Someone started it, and i did a bit of updating it today.

Additionally, Scout Madu is very outdated by the Defiant armor drops.

*edited to add, updated through level 80, will get AA stuff when i can.

Well, that's good however I meant something dedicated to the fun/useful non-leveling things to do in EQ.

Well, in the 60s you could try to solo some clicky shwag. Dusty Soriz Worker Pouch and Wand of Imperceptibility come to mind for named hunts, so long as you have a way to stop runners. I managed to solo both of these with a 60 paladin with decent gear, but there were some pretty tough situations when mobs ran and brought adds.

Quest-wise there is the Fisherman's Companion clicky summon fishing pole item. The great bonus to this is that the summoned pole then can clicky summon Ale.

Here's some old school semi-useful stuff to do:
If you feel like doing a little Velious factioning, you could get a 0.1wt 8 giant slot bag with 70% WR called Wenglawks Manly Purse.

You could also work your way to the top of the Tower of Frozen Shadow and get a snare-proc whip called Tserrina's Whip.

On the subject of snaring, there is also the https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=26033" rel="external nofollow" title="https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=26033">Glaive of Marltek, which by your 60's you should be high enough to carry out the scorched earth method of killing all the mobs in the area until you get the random turn-in.

For random quests to do, I personally enjoyed the quests out of Katta Castellum immensly. The place has a good lore and the architecture is stunning. Some factioning may be required to begin some of the quests - for that just kill guards in Sanctus Seru.

If you are bored enough, you could reproduce this battle, referenced https://everquest.allakhazam.com/forum.html?forum=1;mid=107307770073578764;page=1;howmany=50#m1073082912749917393" rel="external nofollow" title="https://everquest.allakhazam.com/forum.html?forum=1;mid=107307770073578764;page=1;howmany=50#m1073082912749917393">here. Yes, Fortis has a long memory for these useless trivia posts.

Thanks for the tips, I've updated the main post. Keep them coming!
Also, if you would... Please format the suggestions like so, so it's easier for me to update:

[link=link_to_item_or_quest_or_monster]Name of whatever it is[/link]: A brief description. Thanks to Your_name_here for this.*

*If you want credit, that is.

Wiki: I have added this to the wiki. If the mods see fit to change the name, I'll understand - I wasn't sure what to call it. However it would be nice if it could stay there in one way or another.
I'm not entirely sure I named the post correctly, as it isn't showing up in the recent changes. However this is my first edit in the Alla wiki so, I'm not sure.

I can't really think of all that much, but Journeyman's Boots is a decent quest.

A very handy speed item, use to get a speed buff similar to sow, easy to get. If the spawns are up anyway. First kill off an ancient cyclops, loot the ancient ring and bring the ring, 325 pp and one shadowed rapier (which vanishes after logout) to Hasten Bootstrutters in the Mountain of Rathe area.

He used to run very, very fast but they slowed him down significantly.

This item is great for lower lvls or those who don't yet want to buy a horse. Although the Cyclops's are around lvl 40 I believe, there is one who spawns in South Ro that is a much lower lvl. (34 or so I believe)

You can force the different sides to fight one another in Hollowshade Moor in Luclin. Kill named mob in either the Grimling, Owlbear, or Sonic Wolf camp, and one of the opposite camps will march against them. It's been a while since I've run the war but it's quite amusing. The gear that drops from the named mobs isn't too bad for alts, either.

Here's the Alla link for it: https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?quest=1609

I'm surprised it hasn't been posted by now:

Worker Sledgemallet, your best friend in many dangerous situations.

Can be obtained pretty easily these days via the chanter shroud, but it's also fun doing it the hard way (factioning).

Hollowshade Moor is probably the one zone in the entire game that I spent more time in than any other. Just chilling out. Playing through. Running alts out there to loot the nice equipment. It was a blast.
