EQ on a partition?Follow

#1 Jul 31 2008 at 9:08 PM Rating: Decent
Hey guys I'm trying to install EQ on a partition seperate from my OS. Everytime I try to run EQ, the patcher works fine, but after I hit the "PLAY" button it says "EQ.exe has encountered an error and needs to close" (something similiar to that).

Just wonder if anyone has installed EQ on a partition seperate from their OS? Did you have to make any adjustments? Or will it just not work?

Whatever your problem may be, it is not connected to the fact that the install is not on your primary part.

If you haven't already done so, you might try Sony's help files. There are searchable FAQs that have helped me with problems somewhat like this (told me what files to delete that were likely corrupted).

Have had that happen several times to me. The only thing that worked for me was to download a new patcher. Now I have the patcher that worked for me stored on my computer, incase it happens again.

Cool, good thing to know that this is possible. Would be a hassle to re-do my partitions just to play EQ.

Bohlas where did you get your patcher?
