What exactly does it do? I wasted 9 aa's on it and I get nothing out of it.

Skill says *Gathers up energy and draws hate towards you untill it fully gathers, then it unleashes a curse of damage upon the target.

I have seen it do nothing at all...

Necro AA... 3 ranks to it.

I've only moonlighted as a necro, cant remember what it does specifically...cast it on yourself to get an idea, if you dont resist hehe.

As I understand it, it generates hate. From what i have read its not a popular AA.

It looks like it is supposed to cast some sort of improved Duskfall DoT when it fades (a 3 tick 1000+ pt/tick DoT). But necro boards complain that no one has seen it actually reduce hit points of a mob so the damage part of the spell might be broken.

Still, it looks to be useful if you are in a group without a tank and it is decided that the necro keeps aggro just in case.

It is three ticks of 1000 hate followed by four ticks of 1000 damage the damage is invisable(no damage message) for some reason but it does happen.

Drop the three hate ticks and make it seven 1000 damage ticks plus fix the not seeing damage and the aa would be well used. As it is now most dont even bother with it.

It's definitely not an AA I'd spend points on until I had over 1,000 AA and had the basics locked up. That said, it's handy if you want to peel one add off a two pull when grouped. It's a nice bump of aggro when combined with your dots if you want to take aggro from another player or group. So in sum, not totally useless, but not really a must have AA.
