A few questions about mounts:
Does anybody know how fast are the mounts that you can get from the LON game ?
I'm playing a berzerker - run5 - and I'd like to increase that, if possible.
Can they be upgraded ?
If so, how?
And is there a generalized list of how fast the various mounts in EQ are??

The LoN mounts are the same speed as the paladin/SK AA mounts.

Drud in our group got one of the mounts - it outruns the fastest horse - Necro in group has the top level horse and she outruns him by a good bit.
The mounts are knight speed as stated above, what isn't stated above is that the mounts are ultra rare and crazy expensive to trade for. This year they did a loot tourney that had a mount as it's free prize called the viridian cragslither, if it's up in posted trades it will probably be the cheapest mount you can find. Bear in mind as you sink a crap ton into the card that it only cost the seller $1.00 (the tourney pack comes with 3 booster packs(2.99 ea), a promo LoN card, and a promo eq1 or eq2 loot card for $10). Also this mount is rather hideous.
If you're in a position to be raiding early TSS mobs (Oblivion, Avalanche, Vergalid, etc.) then you will be able to acquire an Essence of Speed.
You get a tinkerer to make you a couple parts, buy the combine container from someone in Crescent Reach, and then you combine the essence (and other materials, iirc) with a Collapsable Roboboar.
Voila, you now have a Class V Collapsable Roboboar, which will take you down the road at bard speed.
Search for "roboboar" on the left for links to a more complete listing of the parts needed.
