What's Left?Follow

I've been away for probably four or five years now and decided to maybe give this a whirl again. I played on Vallon Zek for my entire gaming tenure. I was wondering is that servers till around? And if not, where would my characters have gone and how do I recover them?

I suppose the other question I should ask is how enjoyable will this be? I'm waiting for the patcher to finish, which is taking forever, and I'm trying to go into this with an open mind, but is it still the same game I enjoyed from 1999 to around 2004? I also only have expansions up to Planes of Power, how important are all the others that I've missed?
