FRI: Ding 75 on the Druid! Then a whole lotta plat down the tube in upgrades. Ground out a few aa's on the Nec. Played LoTR OL with the wife for a bit. I havent really played that in almost a year after betaing it and buying a life suscription.

SAT: Ding 60 on the chanter. KEI Daddy in the house! Ground out aa's on the DRU and NEC. Spent a good chunk of the day setting up a new PC in my guitar room for school next month. Finished the Rama series, good books.

SUN: Ding 61 on the chanter. Hit my AA goal for the NEC and turned on regular xp. FIlled the last spell gem on the DRU. Started working on a new recording in the with the new PC. Got all of the backing tracks laid down, just need to lay down the bass and guitar next and mix.

Weekend Whine(TM): On Sunday I joined a group with the chanter in one of the hot zones. My first clue to disaster should of been one of the guilds in the group ( guild has 2 members only ) or the name of one of the members (Mrwang). After watching these guys not fight when we had multipal mobs in camp as they were too busy looting go afk and break mez over and over I had had about enough. Then on the far side of the camp a solo toon was moving past. Keep in mind we were in a large area with lots of mobs we were NOT keeping fully cleared and she was passing theu. Wangboy decided to train her. I was stunned. in 5 years + of this game I have been trained but I have NEVER been a a group that pulled a stunt like this. I left the group and sent a apology to the train victim.

Funny later in the day I had time for more fun so I logged in my duo of Pally and Shammy whe were camped at the HF ZL in Nadox I did a CC as every mob in site was up. THe train victim responded that she was camping the entire undead area in cluding the docks. I gave it up for the weekend at that point as it wasent worth argueing about.\

Edited to add: I later went to guildportal to look at the 2som;s guild web site. Please....guys......if your going to make a ste use spell check! Nothing screams out loosers that a home page with multipal mis spellings.

Helped a guild cleric finish the last few fights of the Epic 1.0 over the weekend, including 5-6 hours of shard hunting in Skyshrine. Numerous spells dropped, I recommend the Veeshan's Peak entrance as a camp if you are hunting shards and can handle the mobs there. Thanks to the pathing route you don't have to go far to pull, they come to you.

The new warrior got a bunch of levels and the clicky DS arms from Ragefire (no other plate mains or alts were around that wanted or could use)which is kind of amusing on a level 18 alt.

edit: Second guessing my map knowledge, think I have it now...

FRI: Went with a couple guildies to The Steppes to get some spell drops and some xp. Well we got the xp and one spell drop, it was just a spell that none of us could use, it was fun never the less.

SAT & SUN: No EQ for me. I had to work all weekend and wanted to watch a movie with my wife. Well I didn't to get watch a movie with her but we watched The Office, thank you DVR! Steve Carell is hilarious. If you haven't seen that show I highly recommend it.

Not a bad weekend although nothing truly exciting.

Friday: Raided with my guild in Devastation and Rage etc. Didn't win any drops but had fun nonetheless.

Saturday: Hung out in BoT grinding out AA's and Exp. Logged early and went to bed.

Sunday: Helped out a guildmate earn some radiant crystals by completing the Creator DoN mission a few times.

No EQ. Just no time this weekend. Seems like I am falling behind in my EQ time. Oh Well!

Fri: Hit 60 on the shaman and finally found the golems in Fear up to get his 1.0! Also helped a wizard guildie kill her Enraged Golem in Fear for her 1.0 in the same run; it was during this that Fright popped right on our heads. Rezzed, rebuffed, and went back for the kills.

Sat: Alliance raided Demi, and managed to clear all of it except Mayong, whom we'll be back for on Tuesday. Was hoping for a 2.5 page for my beast, but only two caster ones dropped. Got about 8 AA on the shaman after the raid and went to bed.

Sun: More AAs on the shaman. I want to finish off Healing Gift and some defensives before leveling again, and the AA exp in Bot is great for that.

I decided to retire the SK Saturday nite. I'm so tired of having to depend on others (healers)to do anything worthwhile. I don't care to box. There are too many levels and zones in EQ now, she has become a bloated piggie. I'm thinking about roling a mage on test server, tossing around trying a mac to play on the mac server, looking at another game or trying this RL thing. I've been playing computer fantasy games now for 22 years so cold turkey is going to be a hard thing. It would be nice if there was a mmorpg similar to when EQ came out. It seems like all the newer games are courting pretty graphics and easier play mode.

I'm not trying to whine this is my weekened update, but if your offering I'll take a 2005 Paso Creek Merlot please sir or madam.

Did some raiding, got 73 on the beastlord, as well as vomitting all over the floor.

I'd like to say it was productive.

Thursday I took the druid paladin duo to AC. Needed to recamp the aug drop as I disolved the old one rather than pay a few k plat to safely remove it. Burned off LOD on both and camped.

Friday. Pt in AM work in afternoon. I was in a lot of pain when I came home, and found the grandchildren were there. (Elne making costumes for them to wear at BALTICON42 this coming weekend.) Seeing them made some of the pain go away, but for the first time in weeks my legs started cramping later that night. No eq.

Saturday. Work on ship for 10 hours. Pain was so bad in AM i wanted to go home, but since we were short handed, I took a pain pill and stayed. Got home and logged on to druid paladin but shortly came a call for helping a guildmate do 1.5 cleric. Logged on shama for first time in weeks. Guild portal to barindu and lag hit me. The first pull was a group wipe due to too many adds. lag was a problem in casting but if the group had set up right no wipe should have occured. Normally i take things in stride but was still hurting from leg and just logged out of game.

Sunday. Working on tour bus, two nice groups. Came home to the grand kids again. Had the fun of watching Indiana Jones and temple of doom with the 6yr old.
Later after dinner and their leaving I burned LOD in AC until I looted the aug I wanted. Ported out and logged.
Made money on traders all weekend as well.

No EQ again this weekend. Was busy raiding Walt Disney World. Heard there was an uber-rat that drops phat loots. Never found him but I'm thinking the whole area is populated with rogues. My walet was certainly lighter when I left.

Mon: renewed one of my 2 EQ subscriptions. 2 more years now, hehe. patched EQ. did load trader, but nothing else.

Not anytime soon. Most days I struggle to get in 60 minutes of time playing just so I can burn lesson on the DRU and NEC. If I have a little more I work on my chanter.

Your spot on Stromms leaderboard is safe from me until you return!

Ok so it's not really the weekend anymore but last night I finally got to play for like the first time in 2 weeks and...

Got 58 for my cleric and a friend's shaman, plus a bunch of AA's.

I have gotten so good at running these 3 toons that XP is coming faster than I am used to with a Troll SK(old penalties). It feels good.
