I have been hearing that the shaman epic 1.0 is bugged and that now you dont have to do it as it is written. All that you need to do is one part over and over to get the faction then you can go to the final fight. Any truth to this?

I have 2 shaman on 2 accounts who are looking to do the epic.

I just started it on FV with an ogre shaman...when you do the part at Eruds crossing, just wait for each guy,but the text is not quite right...if you follow the Alla version, scroll down a couple of reply's and there is a walk through ( or pm me and I can help)

I got as far as the jem turn in in the emreald jungle, and the spirit said faction not high enough.

Apparently you have to do the first kill in OOT and then turn into the freeport at least 4 times more to get high enough faction...I will let you know. You should be able to kill the two guys in Lake Rathe also, and do the turn in, but the OOT is faster, if you have a druid friend Smiley: grin

I wouldn't say that it is bugged, as you have always been able to do the shortcut. Basically, you need to get your True Spirit faction high enough (allied perhaps). There are a couple steps that you can repeat and repeat just to get faction. Once there, you can skip a lot of middle ground and just turn in the Child's Tear from Fear, and pick up the quest from there.
