im in a kite group atm in HoH im a 60 ranger useing a nightmarewood compound bow and for some reason for the passed 15 mins i have missed every single shot does anyone have an idea whats wrong??
It could be may different things...
Are you trying to shoot a magic based mob with a non-magic based arrow?

What's your archery skill at? Your dexterity? Are the mobs you're trying to kill red to you? Any number of factors could be in play.
My guess is you ran out of arrows ;-)
Definitely ran out of arrows. There is no other explanation. You are not going to miss a level 80 mob at level 1 with 1 DEX and 1 Archery skill for 15 minutes straight.

My money is on your arrows arent magic and the mob your shooting is. I personally started my ranger about a month ago am lvl 41 atm and have bought arrows from diff merchants and went out to xp, and you guessed it my arrows do no dmg to the mob im shooting. I switched the arrow type i was using and my bow dps was back to normal. Watch where you get your arrows and what type they are. I suggest summoned arrows from mage till you can use Tolan's Darkwood Bracer at 45, use that till you can get endless quiver AA at lvl 59. Just my 2cp hope it helped

it could be the mob was backed into a wall,or the magic based thing

OOOOOH PICK ME!!! The problem is not that you ran out of arrows if you did you would get the message YOU ARE OUT OF AMMO....duh. Second let's see at lvl 60 you are more than able to have gotten EQ or endless quiver (or was that just me that did that) hmm... magic arrows vs. magic mobs? omfg how many magic mobs do you know that reside in HOH <Please>. My fantastic guess is that SOE refubarred the ranger (like they don't fubar our bows and range on them every patch HELLO!!) The patch when SoF came out had me sitting in the mob to get a shot to hit.....and no I was lvl 76 back then I am now lvl 80. so yeah the omfg your dex and that must suck is not the issue. More than likely hun your bow's range has been fubarred by sony ...happens ever so often.... just take a step forward and if that's not working then maybe you need to log and relog other than that may i advise you to work on your ARCHERY and BOWING skills? Also, it could just quite possibly be that you have the sucker rooted and that takes from the hits and misses but I'm still voting on the FUBAR bow range :D just keep scooting around til you find your sweet spot. Need magic arrows. Those scrub arrows won't work on higher lvl mobs. You also won't get any skill ups for trying to hit a mob that requires a magic weapon. Found this out the hard way, and alot of arrows later, when I first leveled my ranger up.
May want to spend the time to get endless quiver AA's done. That way you just buy one good arrow and your set forever. may also want to invest in https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=6186 for the stackable haste on your bow.
