Escape to NorrathFollow

So here's my deal... I'm contemplating a second account. I want to see how smoothly my machine can run two accounts... so I planned on starting a second account and doing the Escape to Norrath thing, just to test it out.

However, here's the thing: I signed up for an account, and it seemed like it was all going fine... but both the normal (well... Launch Pad thingy) login and the Escape to Norrath icon in C:\Program Files\Sony\EQTrilogy pretty much just say 'Download' instead of 'Play'. I click it, it updates a bit... says finished... and still says 'Download'.

Any suggestions?

(And I don't really have the $55 to throw away, just to test out my system... so I'm not going to sub and get the SoF all in one).

Escape to Norrath is so outdated already that it patches a ton of conflicting files with normal EQ, which is probably the root of your problem.

I played through it a month or so ago with someone and was incredibly frustrated dealing with no OOC medding system, and the changed cons i've now gotten used to.
