Will the Silverwing items still drop in the old hotzones even after the creation of new hot zones? I have never been thru a hotzone change since I began playing.
Yes they do, and the shards still drop also.

Presumably so. I believe everything will still drop, until they reuse the zone as a hotzone, down the road in the future.

Yeah I know. lol My pally has all pieces except the ring from HOH and the choker from traknons teeth. only level 62 atm, so I connot upgrade the Silverwing band yet, but I have the shard for it. want to make the combine for the Aural silverwing charm (sp). Then I will go back for the other pieces that i actually want to have. lol the Glinting shard for the first loop was the most annoying. I had to clear out the entire zone of Permafrost 5 times before it popped into my lap. Not hard for my level but annoying all the same.

Try the bazaar. I've bought several of my shards there.
Yes, all of the old hot zones, going back over a year, still drop the special items and augs. Im in DSP now looking for the shoulder for my paladin.

LOL. I did that is where i found my scintillating shard for the belt. There seemed to be only one person selling them though and no one was ever on selling the glinting shards for the low level items. I am on Quellious server, so you never know what you will find in the baz.

Good luck on the drop. I had the most luck with the mushrooms by the NL entrance in DSP. Although, i did find many more shards dropping before I even knew about the quests. lol

I got the shoulders, went to velks and got one shard to drop.
