Everyone enjoyed the weekend?

Didn't play that much EQ, but my baby chanter dinged 20 - welcome Permagor Wiccecraftt!

On Thursday, got 2 AAs for my Bst by doing two froggy missions and one Freeport pirates mission. Think I got enough of monster missions for a while...

Saturday, went to a spa and enjoyed the quiet and the sauna.

Sunday, watched "War of the Worlds" with Tom Cruise... such a good plot, and such a poor actors' performance...

FRI: More of the same 3-4 AA's on the NEC and 2 on the Druid.

SAT: 7 AA's on the NEc and 2 on the Druid.

SUN: 7 more AA's on the NEc 2 on the Druid and the wife and I took out a Pally , Bard, Cleric trio we havent played in a wile. We spent a little quality time in CoM a old fav of ours and dinged 48. We may reactivate one of our other accounts to bring her 48 Wiz in. In face we did reactivate another account but it was the wrong one so we gave up. Watched Army of darkness and went to bed.

Good Morning all,

Fri: Did Hatchet in DPoB with guild.

Sat: Didnt play until the evening time, and attempted Redfang in DPoB. Got im down to 6%, then he turned, hit some key healers with silence, and we wiped. Lost some people to RL, so we hit Sverag boss (the werewolf one). After that it was Porthios in Relic.

Sun: Just burned a lesson, then for the rest of the day spent time with my kids. Dinged level 79 on my cleric during the Lesson.

Thursday Guild raided but I had a hockey game so no EQ for me.

Friday Wife and I 5 boxed some quests that have been laying around in our quest window. Midway through we decided to help some guildmates work on faction and quests to obtain rank 3 spells. Missions were in Beza and were quite fun. Decided to finally go back to regular exp and dinged 80 after being a hold out for so long. (Long story, don't ask. Smiley: lol)

Saturday Had a good day with the wife. Nudge Nudge Smiley: wink2 Smiley: wink2 Also managed to get in some work during the day and didn't get any EQ till the evening. Guild held an unofficial Vish raid which we unfortunately didn't win. 3 times in fact. Just not enough people paying attention. Was fun being the only tank (yeah, just one warrior, SK or pally was on. Me.) and Vish was my bish. After, the wife and I joined the same folks and did another Beza mission. Ended the evening by visiting the spell vendors in Hills of Shade.

Sunday Guild raid was the only EQ as we took out Sothgar and AG North. The raid ended with a late run at Lethar 2.0 resulting in a wipe at 28%. Oh well, 31 items of loot will certainly help. Exciting point of the night was when the guild hit 60,000 DPS!!! This lowly warrior was but 1,000 of that. Top was a ranger over 3,000 with many of our high dps folks not far behind him.

A good EQ weekend overall.

I had a pretty good EQ weekend that saw my Wizard get his 1.5 and gain 9 AA's over all. I didn't raid with the guild last night but tonight we are going after OMM! With luck I'll get my 2.0 orb to boot!

Fri: Did an Anguish run with my raiding Alliance. Got OMM down to 58%, but everyone forgot about the Mark of Death.... At least we were able to get some folks their 2.0 orbs.

Sat: Blazed through Kellak in the TSS Leviathan raid (though I died on the first pull, heh) and then after much debate, decided to do a run of Vergalid's End. The clockworks were shakey, but we finally destroyed them. Took the giant down with ranged DPS (we were afraid of the lifetap) and finally cut down Vergalid. Was an excellent job done by all, and now the Planar Campaign is finally in Ashengate!

Sun: Did a Katta mission with some guildies and went to the raid organization's anniversary auction. Won a tonfa and the Demi range item for my beastlord and my monk friend beat me on some Forgotton Artist's gear, but was a good time all the same.

Friday PL'd my monk alt 40-47 in various hot zones.

Saturday PL'd my monk alt 47-56 in various hot zones. Tailored her a new set of Fitted Energiac and made 4 Velium Trio items with Taaffitites/Peridots/Opals.

I did one (my first trio jewelry) combine incorrectly and ended up with some TSS Velium Taaffetite earring with a 7 and 9 slot instead of a trio earring. Wasted 10k on that successful combine.

Sunday Guild raid lost to Vishimitar two more times after winning against YarLir again. Got Vish to 20% this time, best so far. After the raid I worked more on Eron's Jewelry quest. Got the fish and prawn and frogleg. Still need 1 more Jungle Pineapple.

Finished my demi-lich skull cap. No kill was hard at 61-63 (my levels over the 3 weeks I have been working on it) but the time sink of faction and spawn hunting as a Drakkin felt significant.

I have great respect for the people who did skull cap #1-8 as they levelled up in the Kunark era and faced the mobs as tough cons.

I also had the benefit of no competition for the spawns, though you would be surprised how many people go through Dalnir, Warsliks, Kaesora and Charassis when you start spending long hours in them. I even had to call a campcheck in Kaesora as there was a 50s group and a separate level 70s doing stuff --we all had a laugh over that.

Helped a long time casual player finish his first epic 1.0 on Sunday. We were all pretty stoked about that.

Finally got back into game a bit. Mainly due to my cd drive acting up and not able to load up other games.
I had dusted off Jonwin Tuesday and thru Thursday eve I had him running around CR and Moors doing the TSS quests for bag, regen potions, arrows, and the wayfarers/charm of lore items. Died on Friday due to fighting greys in water and didn't notice my air running out. Was too used to him wearing the lodi shell shield. I also had druid in DSP and was able to loot the shoulders. Now back to velks or the bazaar for the upgrade drop. I did some Nobles Causeway hunting with the shaman Jonwinnie on Friday eve, and on Saturday ran her around doing the slipgears gem quests while in rogue form. She is currently parked in ruins of ixl.
She did die once when i went to see what loot a ground spawn had, and didnt notice the mob nearby.
Today I spent 2 hours in HOH with the cleric. Picked up the shard and the aug! Died when I got heal aggro and group didnt have a tank to taunt the mobs off me. ( Group was easliy handling 3 mobs at a time with pets, but had 2 wanderers add.)

It's so nice to hear other people do dumb things.

In a raid this last weekend, I once again accidently hit my insta-evac button. This time however we where fighting Yar Li. It left the group back at the zoneline outside of the locked door to Yar's chamber. The raid leader, one of the MHer's and our second-in-line tank were all in my group. Smiley: blush

Here's a secret though...if you get on a mount and shrink yourself you can squeeze through the gap between the doors. You can also cast on Yar and heal most people from outside the door. I landed two debuffs on the beast then sat down to change out a spell (all while outside the doors). I got sit agro and summoned to Yar Li so found my way back into the battle.

So yeah, I need a good way to remind myself to remove my 'exodus' key from my hot bar before raiding.

Friday: Started the Dragoste earring and ended up not raiding due to a spat with the guild alliance. Logged over to my rogue instead and leveled her to 18 to do the needed poison combine to make Dye.

Saturday: Finished leveling the rogue to 20 and after a few more hours finished the earring. Turned the cleric box's account back on and after a few comp crashes (GRRR!) settled on soloing her in HoH. She ended up tanking for a pet group there until I decided to call it a night.

Sunday: Guildy needed help in MPG to get her last signet so I rolled out with the cleric and stayed there most of the day. We had a great group but finally wiped due to a multiple-mob pull including a named and a rampaging Noc forcing me to go oom and die to rampage.
