You might also try here. It's the mother of all tradeskill progression information, and should have you on your way to 130 in no time.

I agree with VWDiesel, best way to get there:

0 - 54 Tailoring Freebie in Abysmal Sea
55 - 66 Woven Mandrake (needed for Picnic Basket anyway)
67 - 76 Picnic Basket (Steel Boning is very easy to make)
77 - 115 Tailored Quiver (cat pelts drop in Crescent Reach)
116 - 128 Wu's Fighting Collar (get lots of silk; enchanter will make Vial of Viscous Mana, and the Kiola Sap for the Heady Kiola can be bought in Crescent Reach)
129 - 135 Wu's Fighting Wristbands
136 - 144 Wu's Fighting Mantle
145 - 151 Wu's Fighting Sleeves
152 - 158 Wu's Fighting Shirt

Thanks for the input gang. I have gotten to 66 so far.

Did 1 to 21 via training points

21 to 46 Abysmal Sea freebies

46 to 66 Woven Mandrake (wish I'd done this from 21 to 66)

I'm heading to Dawnshroud now to try to farm High Quality Rockhopper Hides for Hand Made Backpacks to 88.

Smiley: nod The free Abysmal Sea tradeskilling quests here have to be the most wrist-jarring tasks of this entire game, not to mention monotonous and boring.

I'd skip them at all costs (and really, skilling up through them in nearly any TS is not terribley costly).

have to agree with what Elinda says...

I did some quests a while back with an untwinked alt... man, what a nightmare, to run back and forth on the Queen of Thorns... I believe if you spend 1 k PP and buy in baz you get the same result so much easier...

Never ever skip the Abysmal Sea freebies. Yes, they are boring, and they will take 1-1,5 hours each, but if you really wanna continue tradeskills, the ability to refine GoD raw materials may come in very handy!

Ha. Between all the stairs, the doors, the different levels, the huge amount of npcs, and the "mysterious forces" which prevent me from finding my destination, I can't stand Abysmal. I refuse to even take my non-gating toons there because I can never find my way back to the magus, lol.

If you are too far away from the vendor, you get that mysterious force message. Just keep going around and sooner or later you will be within tracking range.

Well I got to 77 after farming Rockhoppers in DSP. Now I'm in Jagged Pine Forest slaughtering poachers for High Quality Cat Pelts to make Tailored Quivers to 118. The Rockhopper hides were easy compared to the cat pelts.

My SK friend and I farmed HQ cat pelts in East and South Karana one night recently. I'd say we managed about 20 in an hour.

Not sure how that compares with your current rate, but at least there is absolutely no danger of getting killed there. Another bonus--you'll be the only one in the zone, so no fighting over mobs.

Have you checked the bazaar? I usually find that it's faster and easier to farm pp then buy what I need for tradeskills in the bazaar. Espescially since I can't track.

Don't forget about revamped cultural recipes and the drops tied to them. I dont know about tailoring, but a friend got their smithing past 100 on dirt cheap pieces of ore from the baz.

Try going to Stonebrunt Mnts for pelt farming. The animals there drop only quality pelts. No ruined pelts to disapoint you.

Nedaria's Landing also has animals who drop quality pelts - cat, wolf and bear. You can get to it from a magus I believe. My little ranger was doing the quests there and I was amazed at the amount of pelts i was getting.

The tradeskill freebie quests in Crescent Reach get you to 54 skill way faster than the Abysmal Sea quests. You get a faction message for circle of crystalwing as well. Benefit of abysmal (as previously mentioned) is the refining of GoD materials.

Just remember to grab your trophy quests (west freeport) when you get 50 skill and do the task. Might as well level the trophy as you skill since the quests change (harder versions) if you wait to ask for them.

What the heck are you doing with all the loot from the crap in HoH you've been looting when I was on Hokarz?

/smack Allakkar!

I know some of those are for some kinda tailoring quest. Probably get skill ups even if your success rate is low. I'll check my banks. I know I have some rockhopper pelts there from when I was trying to do my beast 1.5 and had to get tailoring to 100.

I second EQtraders. You can list all the tailoring recipes by trivial and then pick the easiest ones to do that will give you skill ups.

Once again, easiest way to get HQ Cat Pelts is Crescent Reach, believe it or not! Lots of mobs just next to the exit to Blightfire, spawn rate is high, mob level is very low, no danger at all!
