try /melody

(If that's not the exact wording of the command just ask in game and someone that has played in the last 4 years can answer more accurately.)

/melody works well, although at lower levels you may have problems with it because of missed notes. Although, iirc, /melody now recognizes some missed notes and will attempt the song several times. At some point though, it will just stop after a certain number of failures. Still good practice to learn how to manually twist songs, in my opinion.

Anyway, the ingame command is /melody # # #, where # corresponds to your song gems.

So if you want to twist regen in spell gem 1, haste in spell gem 2, and slow in spell gem 3, the command would be /melody 1 2 3.

Is there a limit on how long the "string" can be?

Is "/melody 1 2 3 4 1 2 3 5 1 2 3 6" possible?

I know there are disadvantages to having a long string, but I am just wondering if there is a limit.

There may be a limit but the long strings do work

I have never heard of a string length, but the problem with long strings is that if you get stunned and have to start the string over, you rarely get as far as the last song on that string.

I have used strings of up to 8 or 12 but usually just the standard 4 song melody.

When Dot kiting with auto circle, I do 4 dots, 4 dots, 4dots and selos, so that would be 13.

/melody then any combo of the #'s asigned to the spell gems which you can see by holding alt down, need a space inbetween the #'s. Example. in your macro creator type /melody 1 2 3 4 or /melody 1 5 3 7 4 you can twist up to 5 spells mostly in 12 secs with about a 1 to 2 sec. gap on your songs recast.
ex. say you have a snare song and 4 dot songs on your melody, snare first. by the time you complet the melody your snare song wears off the mob about 1 to 2 seconds before it effects the mob again. Bassically your in the middle of casting your snair song when it wears off the mob.
