i just returned to eq from about 1 year and had to starts a new toon every where i go i can never find anyone... even in pok there is only like 40peps.... is it because im a lower level? like PC there is no one..... or do people just not play anymore.... thinking about going to wow just because i like grps..
Low end grouping is hard these days. Try hitting the hot zones as more folk gravitate there.
PoK isn't what it once was. The GUild lobby is now the place to be for buff n such.
Don't look to WoW as a grouping alternitive. My Wife and step son primarlarry play there these days and I maintain a account there, but its mostly solo your way to 70 then group.
What server do you play on...some are better than other population wise. Stromm has a large amount of posters on Alla's currently.

You will have a hard time finding people at low levels guaranteed. The majority of returning players and especially current players alts simply burn through the low levels too fast for their to be any accrued population. If its worth it to you, take solace in that once you get to the 50s+ you'll start seeing the rest of the EQ population.
PoK is no longer the hub of eq,try the lobby.
Last time I made an alt (on stromm),there were 40 some noobs in cresent reach. I zoned in and was insta invited to a group.
Try finding a lower end guild,make some friends. But yes,people still play.

Low end guilds are not what they were once...lol
I rmemeber when there were dozens on low end guilds on Stromm. Very few if any are left and active. THere are a few guilds I can think of off the top of my head that take any and all levels but.....hmmmm well.......
Firstly I personlally believe that any guild in any game that looks for members in /occ isn't goingto be a good guild. Why? I like to group with and guild with like minded folk...guilds are a family....spamming for members you get all typs and I dont want to spend my time with all types...just certin types..
LMAO I recieved a in game e-mial on my Druid from a "all levels guild" recently....it was a spam recruiting e-mail.....Needles to say it confirmed what I thought on that guild.
I guess its hard at all levels with guilds right now. Before I took a year off guilds I remember as large and strong nad diminished to a handful of folk in a alliance of other guild with handfuls of folk....kinda sad.
