I'm wondering if the new hotzone items (quested through Aiden Silverwing) will receive an augmentation slot, or if they were meant to be without one?
I've searched the site for an answer to this and couldn't find anything.

I had my box (the container Aiden gives you) on me in Velk's when the shard dropped to combine with the shoulders from DSP, the result was a better item with an aug slot (and no trip back to Aiden).

Sorry, disregard this thread. I logged back into Test after a patch, and the items had a type 7 slot that they didn't have before (at least on Test).
The quested/dropped in HoH ring seems to be one of the most ill-designed pieces of gear I've ever seen, both including the missing aug slots and unbalanced stats.
