Ok, where do I go to find information on the 'systematic spell research system' now that all my runes, words, and pages are no longer needed in research? So I understand that the expansion *just* came out, but where oh where can I go to get spell recipe information if it's not in EQTraders yet?

I'm way too impatient to wait!! I need to make spells!! How does one go about finding out how to make these spells under the new system? Sheer experimentation? Or can you buy a book from a vendor in POK?

You should be able to see at least some recipes ingame in your research kit. There is probably a book on a vendor somewhere, although I don't know where.

Old recipes are currently still functional I believe, but will not be for long.

Ngreth is currently undecided about whether or not old drops will stay intact.

Pages words and runes are still dropping so I'm assuming combines would still work. These recipes are only good for some spells up through level 60 though.

Old recipes no longer work, except for swatches. I tried on all 4 of my intelligent caster/spell researchers. My research tomes no longer contain a list of the recipes I had learned. This change was crazy IMHO, Nevertheless Bazaar Traders are still trying to sell Runes, Words, and Pages - guess the word hasn't gotten out yet.

The lost recipes is a bug. It will (should) be fixed soon.
