Friday: THe wife, stepson and I took out level 40 group to the city of mist for a few hours grind. Almost got a level knocked out. Logged and watched the movei Hot fuzz. I love this flick. Gonna be intresting to see Simon Pegg as Scotty in the new Star trek movie.

Saturday: Dinged 62 on the Druid and started the desprate search on Stromm for the level 63 charm spell. Spent half of the day reading "Hitman: me real life in the cartoon world of pro wrestling".

Sunday: Finished the above mentioned book. Took the Druid out breifly looking for a new camp spot. Dusted off the necro and ground out 1/2 a level. Ran him about a bit looking for a new camp spot.

Friday: I was off work so it was a day on and off toons. Started out by trying to do all 3 dains. First group first failure when Dain started the first chieftan fight with the healer not yet on scene. second attempt was a success. On to dain two. First group split up took time but group was formed. This one failed when Dain went out to pull when there was still a rooted scout in camp, and healers were a bit lom. Second attempt went better untill the final fight. I was cleric and thought I could spot heal the other paladin while the other cleric kept dain healed. I was wrong. Group broke up at that point. I went to do laundry and Fix lunch. Go shopping for weather proof items. Its getting drafty in the house.
In the afternoon I had shaman on making some potions and looking again at tradeskill recipes. The evening saw me with the druid/paladin in nadox. Slowly a group formed of myself and some Lucky Insane members. After a solid 3 hours Primrosex had all her drops and we had cleared out the mobs for the ranger in LI but nothing came of it but more exp.

Saturday: Played briefly in early am. Hadden dead again but still no earring. Having a druid Kos to guards in Qeynos maybe fun! Read for a bit, napped for a bit more then got back in game. Had seen I need permafrost crystals for dye so I shrouded and buffed the druid shaman to 25 for a farming visit to perma. Logged off game to go to work. Overnight for a scout troop of 29 scouts and 8 adults. They were a very boisterous group but in the morning with only a few hours sleep in them, they were much more subdued.
Sunday: Left the ship at 11 AM home buy 1130 and after a brief look at traders went to bed. Slept an hour or two came down and finished a game of EmpireItalic Text and started another. When I went back to eq traders were kicked out of game. Logged them in and after a brief talk with mandie we took our toons to Gunthak. She had a shaman, sk and wiz, at first I had only my 39 Bl. After a half hour I also logged in the younger druid (ElneClare) and took brought her so I could use track to find the injured wolf for BL spell. Good thing I did as her extra heals and small ds helped out when we had 3 mobs on quite a few pulls. Bl dinged 40, at the very end.
After a break for food, I logged in courtin to go farm my permafrost crystals. Nice romp through perma, went through areas I had not been through before. (Jonwin and Courtin both used perma in their teens and 20s.)
Gated back to pok, and set up traders before retiring for bed, still tired from the overnight work.

Friday night: Did a bit of experience grinding with zerker, cleric and chanter. Nothing too exciting.

Saturday: Logged in just before noon for RoS raid. Did Shyra and 2 DoN raids. All went like clockwork. Did some quick brewing combines for Jonwin and then headed to PoT for open Time raid. We made it all the way through, including Quarm. I didn't win any drops all day but had a lot of fun.

Sunday: Spent some time in HoH grinding the zerker, cleric and chanter. Got the melee ring but no caster ring, yet. Headed over to Thurg for a couple quick Dains to bank some AAs before the expansion comes out just in case there are any new AAs I want to buy. In the afternoon, I switched to SK, Shaman and Wizard and spent some time at the fort in Gunthak with Jonwin. Lots of multiple pulls since those sneaky pirates like to hide behind the buildings. I think all of our chars dinged at least once.

Very productive week-end.

Hmm, not too much.

Saturday Night tried an LDoN raid...it was hard. We didn't complete it. We ran out on time (remember them dang LDoN timers!!).

Sunday Night jumped in on an open MPG trial raid. We wiped, rather quickly.

Had today off, and actually played a couple hours, but just grinding, questing and stuff.

Worked on tradeskills over weekend got tailoring to 272 and smithing to 220. Used /buyer in bazzar for first time spent about 80k buying TS stuf nice feature suprised it isnt used more then it is.

Had a bad string of combines in tailoring 80+ with no skill up so I decided to use some old eq myths to cure jinx and left pok for less crowded zone to do rest of combines.I ended up in overthere to do last 50 so combines.

Decided while I was there to head over to chardok and see what new tradeskill silk pelts and ores dropped there. Went to area near overking just so I could use shadowstep to go through locked door =) decided to try overking for hell of it ended up with king and his whole room on me but they all died in end. So I tried Queen and she died as well so decided to go check venril in karnors he didnt put up much of a fight ether left karnors and checked gorenair and she dput up about as much fight as level three fire beetle fighting a level 5. I now just need real faydedar and dragon in emerald jungle to complete my old kunark bosses outside of VP solo list.

Yes im bored thank god SoF is finaly here. =)

Heh, I remember my first LDoN raid. Granted, we were dressed in the finest gear Halls of Testing had to offer but, wow, was that a rout Smiley: laugh

We did this with about half of the 54 max that these things used to need, and had heard they were tough, but still expected an easier time of it. Of course, no one had previously done the raid, so we were overly cautious with the pulls.

We also saw a whole bunch of them lil ldon aug drops; +7 agility, or +8 wis, etc. Not many willing, these days, to use up an aug slot for one of these.

I doubt we'll bother again..it was kind of an after thought as the Sleeping Giant we were set out to kill, had apparently woke up and wandered away from the game.
