My EQ patcher runs but when I try to login I get the error "The operation timed out" and I cannot even sign into the EQ Players website or my account status page when I click on the My Account button on the login screen.
The Support button on the login screen also will not let me sign into my station account to open a support call.
Of course there's nothing at all on the SOE website about any problems.
Anyone else having trouble?

Worked fine for me a minute ago. They patched eqgame.exe within the last few days. Make sure your firewall isn't blocking it - I have my computer setup so that I have to allow eqgame.exe access to the internet every time they patch it.

Who is your ISP (in case it's an ISP problem)?

same problem here i was logged in a couple minutes aggo, i logged out then when i came back i could not logg back in. gettin the same timed out error even on the LoN card game aswell

Had the same problem and had teribble thoughts on someone hacking me. Got on Vent and asked my guild if anyone was on my toon, and they said no, so I went and got my info sent to me and changed the password just to be safe and logged right in with the new password. Prolly just a glitch, but it dont hurt to change the password anyways lol.

OMG! That happened to me. I was playing eq and I got booted by something. I tried to log in and kept getting that message "operation timed out". Imagine the thoughts that ran through my head...hacker, banned (woorie, cause i had been in a verbal fight with someone in my guild before and officer booted him )or thatt I had forgotten to donate for the Sony buff.
It happened on 2 different computers. My g/f logged in with her info and it worked just fine. After she did that, I could get on then. I looked into my info, and the email that I had assigned to it was nothing but a bunch of random numbers. Explains why i had never gotten any emails from them, lol.
