I realize that discussion has been knocked around and beaten to death. I am sorry for bringing it back up, however I need to know how mana is figured.

By my count, my cleric at 59 has 303 wisdom. I dont know where this places with other clerics of the same level, but I assume its average at best. I know that until 61, wisdom is capped at 255.

What I am trying to figure out ( mostly for the sake of argueing with the little woman )is just how much mana my cleric would have, just mesured from wisdom and not including gear and buffs. What I dont know is how much mana I would have, if say that remaining 50 mana thats unused was useable and would it at 61 be worth spending the aa's immeadiately then, to get the cap raised higher ( yes I know that when u level above 60, the cap goes higher anyway).

Edited pt3 LOL sorry for the rambling and misworded sentences, have had 3 hours sleep in as many days ( and oddly almost none of those awake hours were spent playing....)

I think you mean the 50 wisdom that's not being used?

I usually raise my wis cap by 5 pt. increments (with AA's), when I know I can max it out. At level 72, a 5 pt increase in wis raises my mana-pool (when buffless) by about 65. Though I don't know what the mathimatical relationship is between wis and mana. But, upping your wis also helps out in mana pres, castings etc.

I would say 'yes', but not at the expense of some of your other important AA's.
