I forgot a funny story from Sun. Wile on the raid in PoEb. I had one of "those " special tanks in my group. You know the type that if you blink their HP goes from 100% to 0%. With my Cleric and Perril on backs ups we couldent keep him up.

After hearing him ***** about dieing and blameing the healers. He remarked that I had gotten him kicked from his guild a few years ago. I had no clue what he was talking about until he gave the toons name....then it all fell into place....

When my wife first started playing I rolled an Ranger to keep her Bard company. No PL we did the old school grind so she could learn the game. One day when we were in the very low 30's we were in DSP xping on tribals. After a hour or so of grinding in came in a a 55 Warr who proceded to follow us around and KS every mob we went after. JR thought he was funny cussing and being a ****.

We took off and I checked his guild name and filpped to my main ( who was GL of his guild at the time) I shot a tell to the GL of his guild and re was kicked as it wasent the first complaint about him.

It was funny he hadent changed at all. You think the way some folk do MM after MM they could spend a few points in def aa's

Fri: Started the mask quest in Atiiki for my wife's and my chars. We 8 boxed all evening, got some Efreeti pieces and some nameds.
Sat: Atiiki again all day/night, farming Efreeti pieces, killing some nameds, got a LON Booster pack.
Sun: Atiiki again, farming yet more Efreeti pieces.

We didnt see greaves or helm drops all weekend, but we got quite a few bracers, gauntlets, arms, Bp's and boots. Lots of AA's, around 40 this weekend for each of our 6 main chars.

Too bad this doesnt yield us Katta faction, need to go back to faction hunting soon, but needed a break from the grind, so we started the grind for Efreeti pieces instead, lol.

Gonna try another spot in atiiki tonight, i think the drops are pure random, but hoping to see some greaves and helmets so we can start finishing a few of our chars.

Friday got my second OoW sig. I'm WAY behind on getting them done.

Saturday was a sucky day all around. Rained like nuts here. I got on for a bit a couple times through out the day managed to pick up two more pieces for the TSS charm. Got it leveled up enough to replace my PoP charm.

Saturday night just sat in The Steppes for a bit killing Gnolls with the hubby, trying to get him the Runed Diamond aug.

Sunday, got ALL the gutters on our house cleaned and flushed the did the ill-fated PoEb raid. We'll get it next time. Smiley: wink

Sunday night helped a guildie with a DoN mission he needed. Then got the directional bug so logged for the evening and the weekend.

Watched parts of a couple Baseball games...woot! Go Sox. Smiley: grin

Lol, the tank (can he REALLY be called a tank) was dropping like a sac of taters. He was also endearing himself to yet another of the clerics raiding with us, by mad-mouthings in guild chat, unaware who was listening. Smiley: oyvey

My old guild leader called me up on Wednesday and asked me to come back, well with little fight in me I renewed my account and logged on. Once I got on it asked me to pick a layout. I was like okay this must be something new, so I pick the option that had my characters name and the screen froze. I waited and waited and nothing happened. So I ctrl-alt-delete and select to end program, all I could think of was man it's good to be back.

I did get on a group in BoT for a bit on Thursday night. Then on Saturday helped a guildie with some epic drops in Hate. I don't have as much time as I used to anymore but maybe I will get to help out some guildies with epics and some progression.

Interesting weekend.

In light of a once in a blue moon blank saturday afternoon due to no open raiding (SSAR, led by one of my guild's leaders), a guildie passed on the idea of having some kind of quest/named hunting get together in icefall in place of that. So we started inviting people up from our guild and allied guilds early in the afternoon (even think we picked up a couple of others outside of this) and went to icefall and cut the trackers loose hunting named while we got a couple of quests for people.

In the end I think we got about 3 kills on Tarnuk Farwalker, 2 on Taruskor, and one on the undead skeleton (forget the name), as well as 4 completed icefall bracers and a couple of other quest drops. A good time seemed to be had by all.

Saturday night was a 24 person DoN raid, followed by (lucky me) the 2nd raid target of my epic 1.5. This now leaves me one group encounter and 1 raid encounter from finished.

Sunday, I ducked the PoEarth raid mostly thanks to an afternoon that wouldn't have let me be able to attend the raid without needing significant AFK time during. Was able to take a couple of friends through two quests in arcstone (Relic Shopkeeper's Charm and Earring.)

Sunday night was the already mentioned DoN mission which was fairly easy for the 47 crystals earned, followed by lots of afk time and a little boredom inspired tutorial fun to round out a busy weekend.

Fri: A few long grinds in Valdy on the beastlord left me 4% from dinging 75. I was a bit disappointed, but a former guildie of mine dragged me out to Sunderock to tank a named for him, so I finally dinged 75 on the beastlord!

Sat: Did a few long signet runs, and ended up deleveling three times. That's what I get for trying to tank in Catacombs of Dranik! Got my level back and am now one signet away from Anguish.

Sun: Had some homework to do, so little EQ. Did a Katta mission with some friends and managed to snag Pet Affinity AA and get a decent level padding. Hopefully won't be going back to 74 anytime soon. <grins>

Friday evening was a fun EQ night. The wife wasnt feeling well and so went to bed hours early. That just meant more EQ time for me and less annoying romance shows on TV. "Oh isnt that cute", "I cant believe that she would take that from him", "They need to get some counseling", all evening long... but not Friday.

I started with some three boxing in Buried sea before I got in guild chat and started inviting everyone to come over and work on the Jonas Skeletal Hand quest. We were a totally mixmatched group with a bard for a tank and no dedicated slower, but we roasted every mob we saw, and better yet, it was a huge blast of fun and chatting.

Saturday
Got some stuff done around the house. Threw out some old bird seed that smelled like beer since it had gotten wet and was fermenting. Wife took 2 naps during the day and went to bed early again. Got a bunch of tradeskilling done and arranged stuff on the bazaar traders. Later in the evening one cleric guildmate wanted to more of the hand quest.
We planned to do Deadbone reef and so I headed there with my 3 toons. He arrived after me and promptly ran into three mobs and then trained them to me before I was finished buffing and had spells and pets set.
After summoning everyone to the guild lobby, we set out again. The cleric did the find the flame after a lot of swimming around but ended pulled another train of undead back to me when I was waiting for him to come out of the tunnel. Luckily I was watching and I ran my cleric alt off in a diff direction as soon as I saw him training me again.

After rezzes were completed he next had to levitate and run around over the ships to get the task messages for the hidden riches quest. He seemed cautious and appeared to come back to me with no train in tow. 3 seconds later 5 undead warp to me and kill us all again. He said he didnt get any aggro messages while running around and so figured it was safe to come back to me. I figured we ought to call it a night.

Sunday
I was feeling more tired than I was feeling religious and the wife wasnt up yet so I skipped church. She was better but not 100% when she got up a couple hours later, and had no complaints about us missing church. I started playing EQ about 2pm and got my mage alt to lvl 75 by 3-boxing in buried sea at Blacksail Folly. Camped at 5pm to get supper ready and get ready for the guild raid in Anguish.
We had already completed some mobs so we just cleared trash and 3 mini-named and knocked off Jelvan and AMV. We had planned to do OMM but the walls dropped again after they had shaken and went up and the script appeared bugged. The leaders decided we needed another go at Emporer Draygun again. We were at 54 ppl but didnt get him below 60. We lost a couple DPS ppl and that meant the adds were depopping and powering the boss up, spelling failure on the event.
After the raid was over, we had an after hours raid in plane of nightmare. Somebody's 1.5 I guess. We were all laughing about how few of seconds it takes to knock the mobs down again after they walk out of their three graves. Most of my guild has 2.0 wpns now except for a couple of recent applicants.

Next we ran to nobels causeway to do the brimblade guy for a warrior who got his globe drop off of AMV.

There I was Wed eve on paladin killing undead in Nadox when "POP!" the machine goes dead. Dropped off the machine on thursday.
Elne let me on her machine a bit for Friday and i checked to make sure the paladin was still alive and then logged on the alts accounts. (My mains havent been played on her machine so I had no hotkeys or anything set up for them.)
Played the shaman for a bit. Took primrosex to ds to gather the watch parts. Did some dual kiting, cant quite do 4 yet, and also got into a group. I ended the night by Cleaning out two alts banks to delete them and make room for the eventual arrival of JONWIN on Povar.
Sat Am Brief session in game, mostly moving Items around, but got a few more kills in on druid in DS. Went to work 4pm to 10am sunday doing an overnight on the ship.
very glad rain had stopped.
Sunday Druid in ds. picked up a brief partnership with a shaman, and later on a monk. Played rabbit for the monk to add dps. Got the final drop for the gloves.

Unlike my guildmate I made some money on trader. Kajolus you just have to have what the people want.
I sold some water! and a word or 3.

Word on computer was the mother board died. I was going to upgrade hd and memory, now it will be mb and memory.
