Well ive been away from EQ since the release of DoN....Decided to come back beacuse i miss it too much....I was wonderin if anyone knows what xegony/zeb server pop is like nowadays..Got a 65 bard not sure whether just to start fresh on a popular newb server or not...any help is welcome thanks guys..

No idea about the server pops, as you know sony doesnt release figgures.

Hey if you decide to start fresh i am trying to get some people together on Stromm, get as many people as i can and hopefully some people will be active!
If you enjoyed the bard, stick with it. Even a "poorly" equipped 65 bard is a hell of a head start over a lvl 1 whatever. Spend the time you would have taken getting a lvl 1 to 65 instead gaining AAs and gear for your bard.

I am currently on Xegony/Zeb. There is a decent mid level population and there are a couple guilds that you could join that maybe will help you out a bit. Overall though, xegony has a pretty good raid population if you would be interested in that. One guild has beaten solteris. 1 Guild done with FC/AG(all except lethar2.0)and have begun solteris. 2 guilds that are done with AG(all except lethar2.0) and trying to get into get into FC now.
