You could not alt-tab when EQ came out.

Seriously though, you could have avoided all the nit-picking if you just made this thread saying, "Looking to start a new guild focused on progression" which is really all you are doing. There is no true way and there is no old school anymore since the game mechanics and technology have changed.

Good luck with the new guild though. If you can beat Vox and Naggy, then Trakanon, then the 3 Velious leaders and so on in order, you will have a blast.

The last time I lost intrest in the game was when a freind of mine was whoreing himself out to strangers at 2500pp a head to run threw some instanced so that they could get the latest gizmo.
I know why you are wanting to do this type of guild.
The question is .. why a month to L51?
Isnt that kind of fast considering?
And, what are you going to be doing a year from now? Whoreing the guild out to run strangers threw an instanced at 2500pp a head?
My point is. Whats the rush ? The game will still be here tomorow. Slow the F*** down and have fun with it.
I might just join a progression guild if I wasnt expected to rush home from work every day and get from L1 to L51 in a month and raid 2 to 3 times a week.
Oh wait I already do ... I'm screwed.

You know, I am told people actually used to get together once or twice a week and play cards .. in person ... siting across a table from eachother .. lol morons.

Blue pill .. please ... I'm staying put!

To answer your questions, jeff, we picked the Test server so we wouldn't have to continuously run people through instances. Only ONE person needs a flag/key on a raid for everyone to have access to the raid zone. So no continuous backflagging.

Second, its not such a fast pace considering Test Server has double XP. Moreover, the only reason we're moving on to Kunark sooner rather than later is so people can get started on their epics and on epic raids. We want to have everyone's epic done by the time we're through with Kunark. Moveover, we've already been at this about a month.. so two months in classic EQ is not so fast. Their's really only 4 raid targets in classic EQ and we can hit them all in a night... we don't want the raid part of the game to stagnate.

Just tell me name of guild and what server and i will join pls i never experienced Eq back in the day and want to do all the old world raids like naggy vox phinny cazic innoruuk trakanon ect ect

I'd like to join but i only have a month to get to the 50's range? start this on any server but the pvp servers and i'm good to go but i only have week days and 3-6 pm to devote to my playing time.......send me a message and i'm there...anh certain class or race prefered??? i'm good with minor tanks and caster....mage necro beastlord cleric (kinda good with wizzy) warrior but i lvl slow on em...pretty much the more used and popular classes any race but evil races are good with me
