TBS ArmorFollow

I've been trying to figure out exactly how the TBS Praetorian Armor works. I understand that you need to get your Katta faction up high to buy he armor from Trader Avatticus. Fine. Looking at the armor, it has two augment slots. Type 7 - easy. Type 13 - seems to be for augments that you can purchase from Trader Vallarines to boost the purity of the individual armor pieces.

I see as well that there are various powersources you can purchase from Vendor Vallarines, and that these powersources alter various stats. I also see that Purity effects the stats of the armor pieces based upon the powersources.

So, here are my questions:

1) Do you equip a single powersource, and then that equipped powersouce powers all the TBS armor pieces you have equipped ? How do you equip a powersource ?
2) If the Purity of an item effects the stats added to the item from the powersouce, I would assume you want to put the fragments/jewels from Trader Vallarines into each of your items to boost the purity of the item from 50 to 75 (Enerergaic Item [Purity 50] + Polished Phosphite Jewel [Purity 25]) ?
